La Paella Restaurante — Restaurant in Granadilla de Abona

It was empty reataurant but still they made me sit in the back. The woman serving was friendly, the other two guys no. They were working for two restaurants at the same time, so must be same business. They were offering menu for 15eur. I had garlic prawns, fish of the day and a desert. Garlic prawns were miserable, garlic not cooked, sunflower oil, as if they just put garlic in oil add ptecooked prawns and warm the whole thing. Fish was orada and I got half of it. Fish was fine otherwise, seemed fried in sunflower oil in a pan. Definitely expected better for a restaurant...

We came here by accident as the restaurant we intended to go was closed and I must say I am happy it was. Absolutely fabulous experience. The staff is super attentive and incredibly friendly. The food was amazing- all of the dishes were delicious and the quality exceeded my expectations. We ordered the tomato and avocado salad, octopus and mixed seafood tapas platter. The food was good. I was expecting it to be a bit more, someting like near perfect with this high rating... and to my taste, the paella was a little too salty. But the worst thing is that paella for €19.50 min. 2 persons, means that you get a paella that can feed two easily, but it also costs €19.50 per PERSON, not per PAELLA. And having a paella for €39 is totally fine, but you should tell people in a way the understand it. I did not and was surprised, not...
