San Blas Reserva Ambiental — Attraction in San Miguel de Abona

Excellent. Highly recommended. A great hike around the San Blas reserve. Highly recommend taking this guided tour. Book at hotel reception. Start by the museum (2nd floor), look around the museum room with multimedia presentation then continued out hiking around. The walking is fairly easy and can be done in casual shoes or trainers. Suitable for children and adults. The tour guide was excellent : he was very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about the area and history. Our tour was presented in English, the guide also fluent in Spanish. The tour ends in the "tunnel experience" back at the hotel which again is a nice suprise and very informative : connects well with the museum and hike. Well worth more than the tour price. Not...

The trip tends to get full, so buy before from the hotel reception before hand. We were charged €15/p.

Our guide was very good and explained the history and why the rocks look different at different places and the people who lived.

¡Una experiencia inolvidable en la Reserva Ambiental de San Blas! Tuve la suerte de disfrutar de esta visita guiada organizada por el Hotel Barceló Tenerife y no puedo estar más agradecida. La actividad, de unas dos horas, comienza en el interior del hotel y termina en la reserva, donde todo lo aprendido cobra sentido. Sin desvelar demasiado para no estropear la sorpresa, diré que es una experiencia didáctica, entretenida y muy enriquecedora.

La visita combina historia, etnografía y conocimientos sobre los aborígenes canarios, así como información sobre la evolución de la población tras las migraciones, además de toques de geología y vulcanología que te hacen apreciar aún más la ubicación y la arquitectura única del hotel. Es una propuesta para quien busque ir más allá del típico plan de playa y quiera aprender mientras se maravilla con el entorno.

Nuestro guía, Arcadio, fue excepcional: atento, simpático y con un conocimiento impresionante que transmitía con pasión en español e inglés de forma simultánea. Su entusiasmo hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más especial.

Recomiendo calzado cómodo por el sendero de piedras. Ideal para público a partir de los 10 años.
