It's an okay place. The service is very good ,people are polite and they speak English very well. However it's too advertised and there are a lot of people who want to sit there but the place is too small for that amount of people. That means it's loud so it's a bit stressful and everyone on the staff is rushing to get orders clean tables etc etc it's a bit stressful. We had the premium sardines which was canned and it wasn't written on the menu ,for their price it was too much. We also had the goat cheese, that was very tasty and it comes with nuts. It would be the perfect place for tapas if it wasn't so crowded, at some point there were 10 to 15 people just waiting on the street to sit down and some other customers were told that they had 20mins until they left because a reservation was made in their table and they couldn't put the reservation in another table because the rest of the tables were smaller. Prices are high for what it offers. We had the cheese, the sardines, the mixed Spanish sausages (which isn't whole sausages just slices) and they brought us bread and tomato that we didn't ask and it was extra in the bill of course, and 2 draft beers. We gave close to 40euros per person. I personally wouldn't consider that a good price ,its a bit expensive but that's up to...
Read moreLa Bodega Eivissa boasts an impressive menu, showcasing a symphony of flavours that left a truly delightful impression. The portions themselves are a testament to their generosity, ensuring even the most discerning epicurean is left satiated. Value for money? Undoubtedly.
However, a truly fine dining experience hinges not just on the food, but on the service that accompanies it. In this regard, La Bodega Eivissa faltered considerably tonight for me. Our waiter, male Argentinian, unfortunately struck a dissonant note. From the outset, his demeanour was curt, bordering on rude. A simple request for a takeaway box for leftovers was met with derision, followed by a string of increasingly inappropriate comments. While a final, forced attempt at humor might have been intended to mend fences, it only underscored the awkwardness that had pervaded the evening.
One can perhaps attribute such lapses to the pressures of a busy night. However, a cursory glance at online reviews reveals a concerning number of similar experiences. Perhaps a staff retraining session, with a focus on hospitality, is in order as I had to painfully lower my...
Read moreThis entire restaurant was a vibe for me. I love the small bites, and I also love the unique drinks. The tuna tartar, the lemon fish filet and the Entraña steak are absolutely divine. Also the burrata and the Gambas a la plancha are amazing good. Our drinks and white wine Azevedo were an excellent choice to pair with our food. So refreshing!!! But the top-notch service and dedication is what really crowned our evening. The owners Miguel and Fernando and their crew are simply amazing and caring. I'd want to thank our server Vitor for going above and beyond to ensure that our dinner experience was exceptional. Their sincere welcome and excellent service made all the difference. Again our server Vitor was just fantastic!!! Please make a reservation!! This place is rightfully popular and wait times can be long. That said, it's a must-eat in Ibiza town. If not for the food, definitely for the location, this is prime dining with great walkability to the rest of the...
