PUNTO Muntaner 12 — Restaurant in Ibiza

I don’t know how this restaurant has so many good reviews. It was actually based on these reviews that my husband and I went there for dinner last week (20.07.2024). The food was a disaster. As a starter, my husband had some kind of chicken in sauce which didn’t taste good, literally. His main was pasta with ragu sauce which was just a little more eatable than the starter. I had the caprese salad with a mozarella that tasted acrid and was hard on the outside (I suppose it was either not fresh and/or low quality). The ladies who served were really very nice and the restaurant looks cute. Attirés par les avis dithyrambiques de Google nous sommes allés dans ce bar cette première semaine d'avril prés de notre hôtel vibra. Déception totale, on nous sert de l'aïoli d'entrée (payant) on nous ressert du pain (payant extra), je commande une entrecôte et elle arrive seule dans une assiette vide avec une branche de romarin dessus... je regarde la serveuse étonné... "patatas ?" me dit- elle... (c'est une blague?) je devrais payer en extra 5.50 de pseudos frites carbonisées qui se battent dans une coupelle. La viande est à peine cuite... je me débat avec un couteau à beurre avec quelques dents... Le courant se coupe à plusieurs reprises, La serveuse scrute chacun de nos mouvements et retire rapidement l'assiette de mon convive avant que je ne finisse... l'addition arrive, on me tend une facture de 50.80 et on me fait payer 50.90, je le fait remarquer mais on feint de ne pas me comprendre. Après une arrivée en grande pompe oû l'on nous remercie par de grands sourires d'être venus nous repartons dans une indifférence totale sans que personne daigne nous souhaiter une bonne...

I tried only the drinks which were not very well made. Both drinks tasted a bit weird like old. Couldn’t try the food here due to the lack of choices. Wanted to try something local, but we did not get any good food options. We came a bit late in the evening, so this might be the reason that the restaurant was planning...
