Pizzeria Teperino — Restaurant in La Oliva

Food was good, individual staff all very pleasant and attentive. But there is a problem with the running of the restaurant, which was chaotic tonight.

Our wine and water arrived 20 minutes after ordering, after our starter and only when we reminded the waitress. She was apologetic and seemed frustrated by her colleagues. There is also a problem with guests arriving from the front and back of the restaurant, some who wish to sit and others who want take away. We were surrounded by people who were standing around tables waiting for takeaway. Some ordered drinks and then were allowed to eat (standing up) from take away cartons at the tables next to us. Not a special experience for diners who had made reservations. Finally, the Spanish red wine on the menu is pretty rough and I would not recommend ordering it.

Trying to be constructive I think you need a manager to be front of house. The staff are just too busy and cannot manage the take away customers whilst also serving the restaurant guests. Or I suggest you shut the gate at the back and instead make this an ordering bar for take aways, so diners can still have a...

This has been one of the best meals we have had for quality of the food, value for money, portion size and excellent service. Hara was an excellent waitress and after we ordered the sharing meat platter for starters, told us she had not yet put through our pizza orders in case we wanted to rethink. Such a thoughtful thing to do- it was huge and there was no way we were going to get through it all AND eat a pizza each! We sized down our order and still needed a doggy bag! Ricky was also very attentive and made sure we were ok and advised on the wine choices. The pizza was delicious and the dough so fresh. I’m not usually a pizza fan but this is somewhere I’ll definitely go again this trip. Overall, it came to £42. For a meat sharing platter, speciality pizza, two glasses of wine and two beers, it was excellent value too. Top marks as a stand out...

Fui a cenar con mi pareja en nuestro última noche en Fuerteventura, la pizza normal, algo "chicle", el tiramisú estaba rico pero no estoy segura que fuera casero.

Lo peor fue que al ir al baño me dejé el bolso, me di cuenta a la hora de pagar, pregunté al encargado (o dueño, no estoy segura...) Si habían dado algún bolso, este me dijo que preguntara en barra pues les sonaba que sí, en la barra la camarera rubio me señaló un bolso grande, que no era el mío, le indiqué que el mío era más pequeño, pero finalmente insistimos en que mi bolso lo dejé ahí porque nos parecía raro que en una misma noche se hubieran olvidado dos bolsos... Y entonces sacó un bolso pequeño, el cual me decía que era el que me señaló al principio, y realmente de dónde lo sacó no se veía, me hicieron decir lo que llevaba dentro(hasta ahí bien), entonces me lo dieron y me fui para el coche.

Yo soy muy confiada pero mi pareja me recomendó que me asegurara que llevaba todo, al comprobar me faltaban los 100 euros de la cartera ( nunca suelo llevar efectivo pero en muchos sitios de la isla no se puede pagar con tarjeta y por suerte el móvil no iba en el bolso), volvimos al local para preguntar quién había entregado el bolso, la camarera rubio muy mal educada e impertinente nos dijo que una chicas que estaban allí sentadas, una de ellas recordaba perfectamente que fue la que entró justo después de mi... Y le dije a la camarera que no me cuadraba que si la misma persona que dio el bolso fue la que vino detrás... Cómo podía faltar dinero? A lo que está camarera de contradeció diciendo... "Desde que me avisó hasta que fui a por el bolso pudo pasar mucha gente entre medias" quieres decir que te avisan que hay un bolso en el baño y no vas a por el al momento? Esa es la atención dada a los clientes? Algo contrario a lo que dijo al principio " me han dado un bolso" te lo dieron o fuiste a buscarlo al baño?

La camarera "ofendida y con mala educación" supuestamente llamó a la policía, a la cual estuvimos esperando casi dos horas y nunca llegó... En este espera les pedí la hoja de reclamaciones y al encargado de primeras se le escapó un " no tenemos aquí ahora" y la camarera rubia me dijo que ella no me iba a dar nada porque no había sido ningún problema con el establecimiento, están obligados a dar hojas de reclamaciones, no se pueden negar.

De puro agotamiento y siendo nuestra última noche decidimos irnos al apartamento a intentar descansar, desde luego no lo...
