Drei Sterne deshalb, weil ich satt geworden bin. Die Vorspeise Pastete mit Ziegenfleisch war lauwarm, was bei Ziege ein Unding ist. Die Hauptspeise waren 2 grosse Spiegeleier, die auf fettigen, lauwarmen und versalzen en Pommes lagen. Darüber ein paar Scheiben roter kanarischer Wurst gestreut, was die Spiegeleier um 2 € verteuert hat. Vielleicht hatte der Koch einen schlechten Tag, denn ich bin den guten Kritiken in Maps gefolgt und dort essen gegangen. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und in spanisch und englisch verfügbar. Weiter empfehlen werde ich das Restaurant nicht. Leider hatte mein Lieblingsreataurant Olivo Corso wegen Urlaub geschlossen.
Three stars because I got full. The appetizer pate with goat meat was lukewarm, which is a nonsense in goat. The main course was 2 large fried eggs, which were on greasy, lukewarm and salted fries. A few slices of red Canarian sausage sprinkled over it, which has increased the fried eggs by 2 €. Maybe the cook had a bad day, because I followed the good reviews in Maps and went out to eat there. The menu is clear and available in Spanish and English. I will not recommend the restaurant. Unfortunately, my favorite restsurant Olivo Corso had closed for holidays.
Tres estrellas porque me llene. El paté de aperitivo con carne de cabra era tibio, lo cual es una tontería en cabra. El plato principal era 2 huevos fritos grandes, que estaban en papas fritas grasosas, tibias y saladas. Unas rebanadas de salchicha canaria roja salpicada por encima, lo que ha aumentado los huevos fritos en 2 €. Tal vez el cocinero tuvo un mal día, porque seguí las buenas críticas en Maps y salí a comer allí. El menú es claro y está disponible en español e inglés. No recomendaré el restaurante. Desafortunadamente, mi restaurant favorito Olivo Corso había cerrado...
Read moreWe went here after the good reviews. Started with the croquettes to share as a tapa and then we wanted something a little bit bigger. So looking at the prices we ordered the garlic prawns for 13 euro and expected it to be a dish but it were 8 prawns with oil, nothing more. Really expensive in my opinion but it was very tasty. My partner ordered a special wet rice with fish, that's how they translated it. It was 15 euro and was a somewhat bigger dish. To bad that we could only find two prawns and two really small pieces of fish in the rice. So again overpriced, but still tasty nothing special tho. The cheesecake was a hit, it was amazing and was well priced at five euro. So the food was oke, but wouldn't go here again. Better places for less money to...
Read moreMy husband and I got a last minute reservation at this busy little neighbourhood restaurant. It’s a rustic style spot with initially friendly service, however once we’d started our meal my husband discovered broken glass in our salad. He actually crunched into some in his mouth and had to spit it out. When we brought this to the waitress’s attention and showed her the glass, she took away the plate and showed it to the manager, then the plate disappeared into the kitchen. We waited for the manager to come and speak to us about the glass, but no one came. No one addressed the issue further, which was very disappointing.
We hope that in the future the staff deal with these kinds of problems in a more professional manner, even an apology would have...
