I'm not one for bad reviews but this is one unfortunately. Let's start with the good to ease my conscience as we have to move into the bad. This is a beautiful place decorated with shabby chic dressers and pricey looking rattan furniture, a large area for seating both inside and out with a great view. The menu looks promising but I have next to no experience of it to speak of. Now the bad. We seated ourselves on a quite morning where it seemed most of the customers we drinking or had already eaten, we waited a noticeable amount of time before being attended too. We ordered 3 cooked breakfastes and the english staple of chips, sausage and fried eggs along with coffee, tea and smoothies. We then preceded to wait around 25 minutes for our food to arrive and even though it was quite the waitress seemed somewhat flustered, anywho upon inspection all of our meals were only luke warm but the real deal breaker was every egg (8 in total) on our respective plates were very under cooked and more than a little snotty, in fact they were barely solid at all. At this point I considered just eating up and moving on, this being the first bad meal of our holiday but my boundaries got the better of me and I politely spoke with the waitress, she then proceeded to remove all the eggs from our plates in order to continue cooking them but left the remaining food to go cold as we waited . We were then presented with still snotty eggs along with the now cold food that came with it originally. At this point I conceded that given that every other meal on our holiday had been beautiful this would be the one bad one in with the great. We ate what we could and asked for the bill making a point of leaving 8 uneaten eggs in protest. This seemed to be lost on the waitress who proceeded to hand is the bill making no adjustments for the almost raw eggs, I then explained our feeling regarding our meal and the time it took to arrive and then re-arrive. This brought our bill from 33 euros to 25, not great considering but sort of acceptable.
All in all this was the worst part of our time on this wonderful island, unfortunate but also sort of expected somewhere along the line. There is an English saying that for my family and I sum up The Yacht Club, as nice as it is, it's all fur coat...
Read moreEXTREMELY AGGRESIVE, RUDE AND AWFUL ATTITUDE BY STAFF!! I have been visiting Corralejo for 25 years now, we have a place out there now and the town has many amazing restaurants, but this place is the WORST BY FAR. In fact it shouldn't even be allowed to run. Minus 5 stars would be a better suited score. One male member of staff here, with a pony tail and light brown or dirty blonde hair colour, medium build and height (described so u can avoid him), was the most aggressive and down right rude waiter/staff member I have ever witnessed. His behaviour to ourselves, to other customers and to other staff members was absolutely vile. Due to his aggressive behaviour and attitude, we only stayed for 5 minutes before making a swift exit before any drinks were brought to our table. The male member of staff in question, then proceeded to follow us out of the restaurant and down the beach front walkway, shouting obscenities at us. We had done nothing to this staff member apart from asking to sit at a different table upon entering, other than the table he originally tried to sit us at. Many tables were free and we wanted a table in the cosy,.inviting, looking section of the restaurant, with more view of the sea, rather than being sat in the very bright lights, situated way back into the restaurant, next to the red hot kitchens, unpleasant to say the least, when the island temp at the time was 37°c already. His reaction to our request to sit in a nicer located table was basically "sit where I said or fâŹ#k off". This led to my wife and young son becoming immediately very uncomfortable, with even other guests looking over to us, quite dumb struck by his actions. This was all terrible enough, without being followed as we left the restaurant and shouted at. We also noted other guests sharply leave behind us, most likely worried by the behaviours within this establishment. We walked down this front beach side path many times over the following 10 days, only to have words shouted at us in spanish again by the same member as we passed. AVOID LIKE THE...

If I could give this place no stars I would of done. Iâm currently on holiday and I visited this restaurant on Monday. We ordered two garlic prawns and nachos. They brought out two nachos and one garlic prawns when we said this was wrong they just took the nachos away and didnât say anything so after ten minutes I couldnât get the waiters attention I went up to the bar and asked if I was getting prawns or were the ones on the table to share the lady said they will be out shortly. 20 minutes later the prawns came out not cooked properly and raw chunks of garlic it was also missing the bread so I asked if I get bread and the waitress said yes itâs coming. So I waited 10 minutes and had to go back up there and I was shouted at by a rude male staff member calling me rude and they donât even give bread with the prawns they done it as a goodwill gesture. (Even though my Mums came with bread and they didnât explain) he threw the bread into my hands and told me to âgo awayâ I then sat back down and my Dad went up to ask why he called me rude he then continued to shout at my Dad so loud the whole restaurant turned around we asked for the bill for the drinks we had and said we will be leaving. He then comes over and apologises saying âI work so I get stressedâ we all work you donât talk to customers like that. When we eventually got the bill another 10 minute wait they dropped guacamole all down my Mum. Worst restaurant in the area. Please donât...
