This is in Mercado del Puerto. Really good Spanish and Italian food I've had in Las Palmas. There are a few tapas and they are really good and only 1.75 euro. Everything i had (Caccucha (spell?) (seafood stew) with toasted bread), Grilled Mackerel with sautéed onion and green bean, ratatouille with cous cous, tagliatelle with seafood, Ricotta stuffed squid.. and so on.. Big glass of beer is 1.75 euro, a glass of wine is 1.50 euro.. Price is between 7-14 euro. Great service and they explain any dish you inquire about. Good english too.

I went there three times and will go back there when I'm back in Las Palmas....

We stumbled upon this adorable Italian booth run by a delightful couple in Mercado del Puerto. The coffee is excellent, and their caponata is a standout – a perfect blend of sweet, salty, and sour. The accompanying bread, toasted to perfection with a crunchy exterior and a slightly chewy inside, is a great addition. However, the caponata's price (10€) feels a bit steep for the portion size, especially considering it's solely vegetables.

last day in Las Palmas came across this. the best in Mercado del porto. and not expensive as the other places in the Mercado. and the Italians taking care of the place were awesome. me and my girlfriend wanted to spend more time with them, everything they sell is good priced and very tasty, you should try for sure the gorgonzola cheese cake... which is from another world well done, hope to see you again and hope not to...
