If you're looking for a dining experience that will leave you feeling underwhelmed and unsatisfied, Churreria Mercado del Puerto is the spot for you. Despite the friendly service, the food at this establishment is a disaster. The "Vuelta Ternera" I ordered, for a whopping 7 euro, was nothing short of inedible. The meat was so overcooked, it had the texture of a rubber sole and the steak itself was so thin, it was practically transparent. And let's not even get started on the "fries", which were nothing but a sad excuse for potatoes. Frozen and flavorless, they were a complete disappointment. And don't even bother ordering the "full" portion, unless you're looking to go hungry.

Would totally recommend this! We had classic churros and also canary ones (you have to try those if you love churros but want to try something a bit different but tasty) we also had freshly squeezed orange juices and they were very fresh. The lady who served us was very polite and welcoming. Their terrace is a bit small but still good and if you stay outside you can enjoy the sun at the fullest. This is a great find. All the staff are friendly. They do a wide range of food and drink, but I had Churros and a large coffee. Fantastic. The Patron speaks excellent English, but everyone went out of their way to help. There was no problem with my wife bringing her own gluten free cereal bar ( her loss!)
