We cannot recommend this restaurant. The service is acceptable but the food is tasteless and substandard. In addition, IGIC is not included in the prices reported on the menu neither on the large advertisement on the restaurant's wall, which is very misleading. The IGIC comes as a surprise added separately on the bill. When we complained about this, the waiter referred to an extremely small text hidden at the bottom of the menu where it says that IGIC will be added. Better still, we have not encountered this fraud at any other restaurant during our approx. 25 previous stays in Spain including Gran Canaria and the other Islands. There is a law, Ley 44/2006, de 29 de diciembre, which states that the full price must be displayed on restaurant menus. Stating the price without including IGIC is therefore illegal. The restaurant's procedure is also not compatible with EU regulations which has been adopted by Spain including the Canary Islands. The restaurant's illegal actions unfortunately show very clearly the lack of competence and unsatisfactory moral insights that the restaurant management stand for. Avoid this place, there are much better...
Read moreA Classic, it's been there since ever, together with it's twin "El Cerdo que Ríe". You can expect consistent quality both in service and the food, it won't let you down. The Stroganoff Flambé is a house classic, delicious and with a single plate you exceed any FDA recommendation for an adult meal and the entrees, you will have to discover them yourself. Highly recommended they have earned with over the years outstanding job. Not a mere facade but a real restaurateur business, proving that with reasonable prices, good management, good employees and good food your business can thrive more than 30 years at the forefront of Las Canteras Beach in Las Palmas. I would dare to say that it's one of the three best restaurants in Las Canteras waterfront, and the best managed of any of them (and with certainty one of the best managed in the whole Gran...
Read moreA nice restaurant with tables next to the see and you can therefore sit and enjoy your food to the sound of the waves which is a pleasant feeling. The staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the languages in the menu seem to be confusing and the meaning between the languages don't seem to be similar. Therefore it's a good recommendation to really check what you order and make sure you get what you want to. A little disappointment in the end was the recite. The sum didn't match the order and when more closely looked it turned out that a dessert was added, a dessert which wasn't ordered. The question is if that was a single mistake or something commonly used in order to make some extra money from tourists which aren't good in the Spanish language? So therefore, a visit here is great but check what you order and what...
