Like most of the Japanese restaurants in Las Palmas, this is owned and run by a Chinese family. This does not necessarily mean that they're not good. The chefs are sometimes trained in Japan or have worked under a Japanese master.
I love the decor. It's not a large place but the way it's been designed makes it look bigger than it actually is. The huge aquarium may seem shocking by its size but it isn't there merely for feng shui reasons, but also works as a divider.
I went alone so I only had two dishes. The sushi was quite good, the tuna and salmon looked and tasted fresh. The second dish, however, was a disappointment. The Yaki Udon had a sweetness I didn't expect and the Udon was perhaps a little too done.
I'd like to return to try some of their other interesting-looking offerings, but I'll stay away from their Udons.

The waiters were completely overwhelmed even though the place was only 60% full. We ordered 5x different sushi/ rolls. Every 15 minutes the brought us one set one after another instead of bringing everything at once.
The sushi itself is ok, the fish is fine too but the size is very small, as if it's for children. Looking at the prices and the size of sushi it's safe to say that Sushi here is much more expensive than in Germany or UK which is surprising.
The place itself looks cheap. Dishes made out of plastic, the people are very loud, there is no music or ambience.
All in all, absolutely no...
Read moreWhat an absolute joy it was to eat here! ❤️ The waiter was incredibly nice (sorry I didn't ask your name!) very kind, always with a smile and making us feel really welcome.
We ordered gyosas, salmon tataki, volcano roll and rainbow roll.
Every plate felt like it was freshly made, the gyosas were really juicy and perfectly cooked. Both of the rolls were 8 pieces, which is the perfect amount!
I can't express how grateful we were of the waiter being so so nice and making us feel at home. It really made our dinner so special. Highly recommend!
And thank you for having your opening time fully updated in Google! Not many restaurants in the...
