This is a really nice ramen shop. They have sitting both outside and inside, we prefer the stay outside because the weather was perfect but we took a peak inside because of it s really amazing decoration. An anime-ish place, exactly what you would expect from a ramen shop in europe. The staff was really good, with fast service and understanding. Both of the girls that served us spoke english which was really nice and explained us everything. I had the shrimp gyoza which was really good, and the shoyu ramen which is a generous portion with a nice broth and the noodles were the perfect size. Read moreAmazing place in an amazing decor. The gyoza, karaage and Shibuya wings were gorgeous. The duck ramen was chock-full of flavour. The katsudon was a little bland according to my partner, but to quote my partner: "Of all the blander foods that I've had this one is the most tasteful". I tasted it as well and it was just very good.
The interior is quirky, bright and "airy". Two sides of the restaurant are open which creates an amazing breeze on a warm evening. The toilet has a mobile fan which is an amazing small extra really. The placemats were an anime comic, which shows how in-detail they went.
Service is incredibly fast, very friendly and fully bilingual.

The portions are fairly generous ; I had their set lunch and I left fairly bloated. You could order one set lunch and some other dishes to share, if there are two of you, like what we did on a separate occasion.
As far as ramen goes, Don Don Ramen offers better in-house made ramen noodles, but Shifu offers a wider selection. If you're having a spicy ramen, they categorise the spiciness level from 1 to 5, 5 being the hottest. On the first occasion, I asked for a 3, and it was perfect.
