Sorondongo, where good food meets the symphony of impeccable service, and the chef isn't just a culinary maestro but also a master of tableside banter. Our waitress, the embodiment of kindness and professionalism, made us feel more pampered than royalty at a spa.
Now, picture this gastronomic haven – an intimate setting, limited seats, and the chef stepping out of the kitchen to chat. It's like dining in a private culinary dimension where your taste buds take center stage.
However, every gastronomic utopia has its quirks. A young couple at the adjacent table decided to showcase a unique talent – a nose-blowing symphony that echoed through the restaurant like a trumpet in a library. We exchanged glances of shared discomfort, our eyes forming a collective eye-roll choir.

The tomatoes were out of this world, too. I could become vegan happily, knowing there is a dish like this - perfectly spiced and marinated.
The mains we had the rib, the fish and the pork cheek. All cooked to perfection with wonderful seasoning. But the absolute favourite was the pork cheek - could be the best pork dish I’ve ever had (and I normally do not like pork).
Okay, you can probably tell I was mindblowingly impressed by this place. And I was.
We also loved the attentive staff and the kind chef who came out in the end to ask about our food. The passion they have towards their food and the respect to local ingredients is...
