Wow factor! Better than the last 2 michelin starred restaurants I've been to and the best meal I've had in ages. I've read some negative reviews about the portion size but really.. 4 dishes with bread dipped in super tasty local olive oil was plenty for me. The unhappy guests were maybe huge eaters.. but get real.. the most expensive dish was €15 or something. I literally had the place to myself for lunch.. wow. What luck! The chardonnay (Chloe 22) was so tasty I had 3. I was amazed to see only €4 each. In Scotland they would be at least 7 each glass. 1st course - salted cod fritter. Amazing dish with incredible air dried tuna on top. Each mouthful was so tasty with umami richness. The dish was slightly sweet with hints of star anis. One of the best starters I've had. Eat it tiny mouthful by mouthful. 2nd - maize empanada Insane flavours. Loads of lime zest on the top that worked wonders with the chardonnay. The squid inside was just lovely. I could have eaten another 3.. 3rd - snapper I like to think of myself as a home chef. If I ever make a dish this good I'll be in heaven. Every element worked so well together. The tartness of the tamarind contrasting the sweet tangerine pieces. If you don't like this dish, you know nothing about food. The snapper was super fishy.. wow 4th - Thai prawn bisque My least favorite dish but still a strong 8/10. Thai flavours in a broth that was very similar to a traditional lobster bisque. It could have been spicier with a little more kafir lime, but still a great dish. I wiped every bit of the sauce with bread anyway. The guys were fluent in English, knowledgeable about the dishes/wine, chatty and just seemed like decent guys who love food. The whole meal (4 dishes, 3 glasses of wine, cortado and digestive) was €56. I hope to go back someday. The michelin star...

Highly recommended. Great new-ish restaurant (they've been open a year) serving delicious creative dishes and, from start to finish, the service was impeccable. I arrived a tad overheated from the walk up the hill on a very warm evening. I ordered water, and was not rushed into ordering anything else for a good few minutes while I cooled down, which I really appreciated.

I had read about the oxtail donut, so already knew I was going to order that but had fun choosing another three courses (as suggested). The anchovy on crystal bread was very tasty. I took the advice to eat it with my fingers in one bite - which was ambitious as it crumbled, but the flavours were great.

Next I had the mozzarella with cherry tomatoes which was my favourite dish. Such intense tomato and basil flavours, and a nice hit of salt on top.

The mullet with vichyssoise was beautiful, perfect little slices of fish with crunchy almond and capers. And then came the donut, and it's a good thing it was last because it is rich. The demi glace sauce takes them 3 days to make and it shows. It is a deep rich cup of umami deliciousness. As suggested I poured a little over each bite of the oxtail-stuffed donut, rather than pouring it over the dish. It's not for the feint of heart; dough plus meat plus gratings of chocolate and parmesan plus the fatty richness of the sauce. I was full, so had to skip dessert. But it was entirely worth it.

All of this and bread served with a gorgeous peppery olive oil, two glasses of wine, and coffee was under 60 euros. Incredible dinner, and a really great...

We had lunch on a saturday and liked it. We ordered two dishes each. We would like to try more, so we made a reservation for saturday evening 14-10-2023. When we arrived we were told that we MUST order four dishes each person and we had to choose all four dishes right now. It was not extremely busy that evening, but we were told that the kitchen needed to know before hand. So we ordered each four dishes. The first two dishes arrived very quickly. One immediately after the other. So quickly that we asked the maitre to wait with the third dish. That was no problem, we should let him know when we were ready. Nevertheless the third dish was served at our table after a few minutes. We hadn’t finished our white wine even yet…. The girl started to explain the dish and I had to interrupt her to explain that we asked for a pause. She did not know this. We did not feel confortable at all. The dish was sent back to the kitchen. The maitre never apologised for the mistake. As for the food. Really good. But if you want a relaxed night out, this was not The place. Not only were the dishes served to quickly after each other. When served the explanation was so rapidly told that we couldn’t understand what we were eating. Because we had to order four dishes at once, at the time the second our later dish was served we couldn’t remember what it was we ordered. Our advice is to take more time for your guests to make them feel WELCOME. Less hurrying up and take the time to explain what you are serving and how you...

An amazing place and must visit in Malaga. I ordered for dishes after an extensive explanation from the staff. Every dish was full of flavour and extremely well balanced. Although each dish was extremely different, they were still very much connected. The food genuinly made me happy and I can not recommend this place enough. It is really good value for money. The “Anchoa” was a small flavour bomb that went from sweet to salty and back. Followed by the “Pargo Tigre”, which reminds you of a Cévicé, but with more expressive flavours. Then the main “Donut Rabotoro” which in my opinion is the star of the show. Sweet, perfectly made oxtail, that I almost ordered a second time. Next the “Salmonete” which was a nice way back to the final desert: “Cococitric”. A fresh and tarty desert with nice hints of pepermint. One thing I do want to mention is that I see a couple of reviews stating that the staff “forgot” them. It gets busy and of course the staff will have less time for you. If you’re here and you’re in a rush, then you shouldn’t be eating here in the first place. My courses came quick, and one look was enough for someone to acknowledge and come over. To finish on a good note: the view was amazing as well.
