Came recommended by 2 people we know for it's local foods. Busy Sunday afternoon, outdoor tables were full but lots of indoor space. We had to flag someone down after 5 minutes waiting without acknowledgement. Our order was taken quickly and the wine came. 40 minutes later others were seated near us, given bread, and the waiter seemed surprised to see us. He brought out one of our two dishes a few minutes later. Cold. Fried eggs on top of fried potatoes and pil-pil prawns, described as a stew on the menu. We flagged him down after five minutes, told him it was cold, and he wasn't surprised. Five minutes later he brought the same food back in a china dish instead of the metal pan, microwaved. He then dropped off stale slices of bread. No pil-pil, rubbery potatoes, hard eggs, and prawns that were beyond chewy. My hubby asked about his dish and was told it was coming. Ten minutes later his cod, poached in tomato sauce arrived lukewarm. The only good thing I can say is the cod was not overcooked. For 47€, I hoped for thoughtfully prepared and presented food. We didn't get anything...

We originally visited La Odisea back in 2018 and loved the quirkiness of the bar so always payed a visit on our trips to Malaga. The past few years we have fallen more in love with the place, the staff and everything this Gem of a place has to offer. We have given it the official title of “Our Favourite Bar in Malaga”. Would say we visit Malaga 4-5 times per year and always pay a visit here for food and drinks. On a recent visit my family even said to me the food they had here was the best they had on the 2 week holiday in Malaga. All the food served here is exceptional and the croquetta are the best we have ever tasted in our lives (hence the large portions we always get)

Fran, Carmela, Marcella, Marta and the others that I don’t know their names are the loveliest people you will ever meet, everyone of them treat you so nice. The Vermouth served here is my favourite Vermouth in the whole of Malaga.

Thanks again guys, you really are the best. See you again in...

Good spanish cuisine restaurant to get locally sourced products. The cheese plate is excellent. Good selection of wine, again, with many locally sourced options. The balcony is also a great spot to get some sun and doesn't have such a bad view. The back garden is also nice for seating. My problem with this place is that they fail to remedy their errors. The service is consistently slow. Also, they have an issue with ants outside. The outdoor tables have been covered with ants both times that I've sat there (at different seasons of the year). My irritation with the ants and the slow service led me to write this review and give only 3/5 stars. Get some pesticide and solve the problem during...

Me sorprendió gratamente.
