Ramen Shifu — Restaurant in Málaga

Quality of the food is quite low, considering the high reviews. I didn't eat most of my chicken, as had lots of gritty parts.

Not to mention the frustrating experience I had with the charges. I asked to substitute the red meat in my ramen because I don’t eat red meat. The server said that was totally fine — but when the bill came, I was charged for extra protein. I didn’t ask for or receive extra protein — I simply swapped one for another due to dietary restrictions.

What’s worse is that no one informed me there would be an additional charge. The server told me I had to pay it and that there was nothing she could do. Since the manager wasn’t there, she called him, and his response was that I “should’ve read the menu” because it apparently says there’s a charge for extra protein.

Again, I didn't ask for extra protein, I asked for a substitution.

Additionally, the menu was a picture menu. It showed photos of each dish, so there was no reason for me to go hunting through fine print when I could clearly see what I was ordering. And again — I didn’t add anything extra, I just swapped something I don’t eat.

The dismissive tone from both the server (Adriana) and the manager was disappointing and unprofessional. No effort to understand, no accountability — just a “too bad, pay it” attitude. I do believe it was the servers job to inform that there would be a charge for changing one meat to the other.

I won’t be returning, and I definitely won’t be recommending this...

I visited this restaurant, cause it looked very promising. As you see in my first video the location is very outstanding and special. Reminding of some Manga Comics. It’s new. But unfortunately not very well cared for. You see that there weren’t many clients but the bathroom was very untidy and the mirror totally messy. The toilet itself looked gross although they just opened the restaurant a few months ago. This to the ambience.

Now the food: I was hoping to get some authentic Ramen, but I was taught the opposite. I ordered some Shoyu Ramen with Beef. The broth tasted quite neutral and the meat was worst quality and totally overcooked. It was full of fat and cheap. You can see in the photos. The waitresses were nice. So much potential but not enough...

At first, things were a bit unclear. We sat down, but no one came to us. To clarify, we were sitting outside. I’m not sure if the indoor area was full or not, but only after some time did someone notice us. Later, a note appeared saying “please wait” — apparently, we had come a bit too early. Maybe the staff member responsible for seating didn’t quite notice that.

Now, about the food: the price-to-quality ratio is just perfect. The portions are exactly right — filling, but not too much. Everything was tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere is pleasant; you can watch planes taking off and simply enjoy a calm,...
