REVIV CAFÉ — Restaurant in Málaga

Reviv is a very nice and healthy coffee/smoothie/fruitsalad/pie bar, all gluten-free and mostly without added sugar. The quality is absolutely top notch! The Bulgarian owner is friendly and expresses her passion for healthy food, which comes clear in het wonderful pies, smoothies and fruit salads. Have you got a gluten allergy? Then taste the wonderful pancakes with maple syrup and season fruits… they’re actually better than the original gluten variants!

On the opposite of the street is Luxalad, a Dutch-owned saladbar with good salads that you can put together yourself. Reviv and Luxalad in the same street: it’s a great combination for a healthy, daily menu for a reasonable price! I wanted to try a different Vegan, Gluten Free, Sugar Free food cafe today so I decided to stop by Reviv Cafe and I wasn’t pleasantly surprised. I went with my daughter so between the both of us we sampled the Raw Cakes: Cookie Dough, Berry, and Tiramisu. The Cookie dough was good, but a bit on the dry side. If you like the taste of peanut butter and chocolate you’ll like this. If they could somehow make the peanut butter part softer and moisture it would be perfection. The tiramisu was also good, but the had a very mild bitter taste (from the dark chocolate or coffee I think), and lastly our favorite was the Berry, this was good and we will definitely be back for this one again. Wonderful cafe: delicous food, healthy food that also happens to be vegan food in the centre of Málaga. I had the savoury Chickpeas pancake with Guacamole, it was super delicious and rich in flavour. Yum! Tried a turmeric latte (they have a big choice of drinks and plant-based milks), and some kind of peanut butter chocolate slice deliciousness dessert thing (refined sugar and wheat free). Also a really nice vibe in the place. Beautiful decor, art, friendly people, lovely staff, and seems like a great place to hang out.
