Overrated.
The doughnuts were really good, definitely fresh/made on the day. The matcha one was much better than the chocolate but both were good. Unfortunately, the guy (wearing glasses and a baseball cap) who served us was so indifferent and unwelcoming that I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind if we left without placing an order. I ordered an oat flat white and clearly the combination of the non-dairy milk with the coffee they serve is not good. The coffee was so acidic and didn't taste well at all. Some beans simply don't go well with oat/soya and that's the case here.
The interior is okay, I wouldn't call it minimalistic or created with taste, it's just very simple.
Apart from the guy behind the counter there were two other people (a woman and a man) sat at the big table. Clearly not some random customers but people who have something to do with the business as when the delivery arrived, the driver clearly knew them. The guy who was sat at the table didn't move when people tried to get some tap water from the shelf behind him even though he was clearly on their way. For someone who works at the cafe/has something to do with it, it's a very bad attitude and clearly shows you don't care about the business and your customers.
There was also a bike inside which blocked the access to the tap water together with the guy.

My rating is so low because my doughnut was simply raw in the middle.
As soon as I showed this to the lovely employee, a new one was brought to me. Alas, it was still not cooked. An other type of doughnut was given to me as compensation (a classic glazed one), but it was still uncooked.
There is either a problem with the oven or with this one batch (visited on the...

I have traveled around the world and been eating donuts and other bakery products for 20 years because it is a very big interest i have and the berliner donut i bought at buns and coffe is not a favorite. In my opinion it was to fat, the bun was rather dry and the vanilla cream was really bad...The chocolate on the top was no hit either...
I have only tasted the berliner so i can't judge the other ones but for me it's really strange that they have so much good reviews when this one...
