Great view and atmosphere but don’t bother getting any food here. We ordered the cachopo and it was so overcooked and dry it wasn’t well done, it was congratulations. Could barely cut through it.
In response to your feedback: Thank you for your response to my review. I understand that receiving negative feedback can be difficult, and I acknowledge your commitment to providing quality service. However, I feel compelled to address several inaccuracies in your reply to ensure my experience is fairly represented. To begin, your assertion that I consumed more than half of the cachopo is simply untrue. The meat was so overcooked and tough—akin to leather—that it was nearly impossible to cut or chew. Far from eating half, approximately 30% of the dish remained on our plates, not because we had consumed the rest, but because I gave up after struggling with it. The chewed-up and cut-up pieces were evidence of my failed attempts to eat it, not signs of enjoyment. Your claim misrepresents what happened and paints an inaccurate picture of the situation. When I raised this concern with the waiter, he suggested an alternative but did not specify whether it would be complimentary or if I’d be charged for it. Having already paid for an inedible dish, I wasn’t willing to risk additional costs on another potentially disappointing meal—especially since my appetite for food had already been ruined. I chose to stick with my drinks instead. Your response implies I declined the offer because I had eaten half the dish, which is misleading and suggests I was trying to exploit the situation. That was never my intent. I also find it troubling that you’ve characterized my review as part of a coordinated effort to undermine your business. This is baseless. I shared my honest experience as an individual customer, nothing more. The fact that another negative review appeared within 24 hours doesn’t imply a conspiracy—it may simply reflect a shared experience. Your repeated emphasis on us eating “half the dish” feels like an attempt to shift blame rather than address the issue. Finally, regarding your comment about crossing the line of respect, my review—“Great view and atmosphere but don’t bother getting any food here. We ordered the cachopo and it was so overcooked and dry it wasn’t well done, it was congratulations. Could barely cut through it.”—was an honest and straightforward account of my meal. The lighthearted tone was not meant to disrespect your team but to convey my disappointment in a way that felt authentic to me. I’m not a professional critic obligated to provide polished feedback; I’m a customer sharing what happened. If it felt harsh, that wasn’t my intention, but I stand by its truthfulness. I genuinely hope you can use this feedback to improve rather than viewing it as an...
Read moreAs most of the people we saw the bar on social media and thought it would be a good idea to go there have a drink on the terraza, see the sunset. We made a reservation one hour prior to arriving, but when we were there they seemed to not expect us and the polite hostess was looking around wondering where can she put 2 people. After finally putting us at a table on the terraza right by the door although there were better tables she told us they were reserved (not that we didn’t also have a reservation, but this is not something so bad, we just wanted a drink at least). While we were sitting expecting someone to give us a menu time went by, and couldn’t skip the fact that around us were 5-6 tables that were used to put away the dirty glases and cups and dishes from previous clients which I think is unacceptable if you want the clients to have a good time, this is such a simple thing to do, to not make a mess in front of your clients. Anyway we were waiting and waiting, I went to the washroom, returned and still nobody has given us a menu. When I returned the other host, came to ask if we are ready to order although he can see we still don’t have even a menu (no idea why we counted 3-4 waiters but the host and hostess were waiting on the tables and not them). The host threw a QR code with the menu on the table as we did him wrong somehow. We choose our cocktails but nobody cared to take our order for more than 10 minutes so we decided to stand up and leave so they can see something is wrong but they couldn’t care less to ask us why we are leaving and try and make us stay. We are people with really low expectations and are always understanding people working in such places but this was just disappointing and unacceptable. It seemed that they knew we were tourists and wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon so they decided to not bother with us. But this is not the way to treat customers, the first rule of a waiter is to treat each customer equally, we hope this is a one time thing and we were the unlucky ones. We leave this review in hope that if there actually is a problem to be saw into and taken more control....
Read moreWe had a reservation and from the get go it was just chaos trying to get into the restaurant. The guy working at the front desk didn’t speak English, which is absolutely fine but he didn’t understand the name on our reservation email and proceeded to tell us we didn’t have a reservation despite showing him the email numerous times. Super strange. We eventually got upstairs and were seated but the service was incredibly slow, like overwhelmingly slow. First we ordered drinks and had to actually go and find someone eventually to come and take our order. When we eventually ordered our food we were told the chicken skewer main would take 40 minutes. Which was fine, but our hopes were high. When the food eventually came it was just so so so disappointing. I don’t know what took so long to cook the chicken because it really was not anything special, and the baked potato that came with it was cold - was it meant to be cold? I don’t know, but the menu didn’t say this. When the waiter asked how was everything and we told him the chicken wasn’t nice and the potato was cold he just had a very bad attitude towards us and made the atmosphere just very uncomfortable. The ceasar salad was probably the best of a bad bunch, but nothing to rave home about. The pasta was more of a spectacle rather than tasting good, it was very bland. Cocktails were good (when we eventually got them), croquettes were fabulous. I don’t like leaving a bad review but I want to prevent anyone else from being disappointed. We started reading the reviews in more detail when we were sitting in the restaurant and could totally understand where people were coming from! There was also a table next to us of a large group getting increasingly annoyed about the long wait times and they also proceeded to complain. My opinion, save your money and...
