Time for soup! I dropped by utopia twice during the freezing Festival de Malaga. For lunch I had a tapa of the eggplant, and they were so umami! Very interesting marination with a singular mix of spices that will delight you. For the main course I ordered the specialty: tonkatsu shoyu ramen. The broth is a delicatessen! And it comes with a piece of tomato (very Kobe of them) and a slice of pickled daikon, that i loved! The charred tonkatsu is excellent, but the noodles were a bit hard for me at first and had to let them cook on their broth for a bit. The order took longer than expected and came without nori. They noticed 5 minutes into my dish and rushed to add it to the bowl. That’s honesty! They could have just never let me know.

So I went again to try their fish ramen, and it is unique, with reminiscences of the green Thai curry, it comes with soy sprouts, three mussels and a couple of prawns. Usually when you order something that is not meat in a Ramen place, it tends to be disappointing. This was the complete opposite. It was even better than the original.

The decor of the place is modern and beautiful. I loved the...

This was our last restaurant stop in Malaga. We opted for Ramen as we felt like a change and it was recommend on the web.

Overall the experience was positive. The dumplings with the wafer slices of jamon was out of this world. The Miso tonkotsu was great. The Tantanmen was so so. Too much peanuts for my liking. Both broths were rich, flavourful and will definitely fill you up if you are hungry.

Decor is great, service was good. It has the potential to have a great atmosphere if it was full but unfortunately it wasn’t. I’d recommend booking...
