<Pros:> *Service: - Few of the waiters were friendly, they asked if you want an English or Spanish Menu. - It was really hot and one of the waiters were super nice bringing the fan close to us. *Food: - Drinks like Mohito ans strawberry Daiquiri was tasty. - Food was ok but not worth the price. <Cons:> *Service: - One of the waiters was placing a book size menu on my hand while holding the phone?!! Didn't even say perdon or sorry!! - I asked for Meat steak with Fries and my friends asked for Solomillo with baked potato and salad in the middle. They brought the order the opposite. Even though one of the waiter was ignoring my friend when making his order to repeat 2 times the order to me. - We asked 3 times for the check to pay and finally one of the waiters brought us the paper without the contactless to pay. So we had to wait another 10 minutes to pay and leave. Knowing that the place was not crowded at all. *Food: - The menu said 250G of meat for the steak but (look at the photo) the steak was the size of the sharp area of a knife which for 22.95 Euros is not really true. - Meat was not Fresh and did not taste the best comparing to other places. - They gave us bread knife for steak which was difficult to eat with. - The salad was around 5 euros and it was a small plate with one tomato slice and the rest basically a small bag from mercadona worth 2 euros 🤣 - They did not bring bread or even ask if we need any. *Bathroom: - Women bathroom was super unclean, smelly, water everywhere, garbage is filled and toilet paper was out, for a place in mullo uno with this price it should be better. We paid in total 75.50 for - Entrecote (Steak) with Fries. - Solomillo (beaf tenderloin) baked potato. - Salad for "share". - Mohito - Daiquiri My advice it is not the best place to go for this price.

Went here craving Indian food after a few too many days in spain eating tapas and racions. The place was packed on a thursday night and while we had called and made a reservation they do not really have a proper reservation system. However they honoured the request and seated us in the outdoor area. It's a pretty great ambience, be it that the tables maybe a little too close for comfort, with patrons practically rubbing by us when entering or leaving the restaurant. Coming to the food it resembels Indian food with the flavouring of the food being 'europeanized' The dal tadka was actually made with chana dal, while the chicken tikka masala was so sweet, it was like someone plonked chicken into a 'shrikhand'. The closest I can describe the tikka masala was that it tasted like malai kofta. The madras lamb curry was the saving grace with it being closest to an actual madras mutton curry. The naans were way too thick and probably nit from a tandoor. We also ordered a jug of tinto de verano which was quite ok. Would still rate the place as decent as it is trying to spread indian cuisine into spain, the service is acceptable and the lamb curry was cooked quite well.

RATING We’re giving this establishment a bad rating, specifically because the supervisor working during lunch today thinks he is above relaying a polite request for the bill to the serving staff. How do we know? Because that’s basically what he said in Spanish to other staff while standing right next to our table, clearly thinking - mistakenly - that we do not understand Spanish. This happened after he had purposefully made us wait for the bill for about 15 minutes already, without even relaying our request and it resulted in us and our CRYING newborn being stuck at the terrace to the detriment of other customers (and by extension, the establishment). While we do not usually leave reviews, this time it was worth the trouble because we think the owner of the establishment should know he is employing a supervisor with an inflated ego who takes it out on the customers if his fragile ego is hurt, especially if there is no good reason for feeling that way. A person like this should not be working in hospitality. The supervisor concerned was working today and wearing a white shirt. He has a beard and a wierd mustache with tips pointing upward that he probably thinks looks stylish but looks terrible to any sensible person.

WHAT HAPPENED? We finished our food& drinks and our newborn starts crying (which we want to spare other people from having to deal with as much as possible). I make eyecontact with the only staff member in sight, the supervisor, and gesture him over, like one does in bars and restaurants. I ask ‘la cuenta por favor’. He hasn’t heard and repeats ‘la… ?’. We spoke english earlier so he may have not understood me because he expected me to speak English, so this time I decide to go for ‘the bill please’. He nods and walks away, but after my wife came back from the restroom, I realise he did not relay my request to any of the serving staff. Still dealing with a crying newborn I ask ‘la cuenta for favor’ from a (different) serving staff member who handles it quickly and correctly. Before he can do so the supervisor guy says in Spanish, standing right next to our table, that he didn’t like the way I gestured him over and requested the bill (despite me doing so politely) and purposefully did not relay my request for the bill as a result. Apparently he feels custtomers should recognize he is a supervisor who is above dealing with requests like these from customers, regardless of how polite they are. As mentioned, the inflated ego of this supervisor resulted in customers of this estabishment having to deal with a crying baby for much longer than necessary. We hope the owner reads this review and takes appropriate action.

THE FOOD: The margarita cocktail was great, the local beer was cold and the location and view from the restaurant were excellent. We had a shared tapas plate for lunch, which was OK but certainly nothing to write home about. Both the patatas and the croquetas were cold/lukewarm and the portion was on the small side considering the price in comparison to other places we visited in Spain the last few weeks. It seemed to be a place aimed more at ‘high customer turnover’, rather than at food quality and customer experience/satisfaction, which is fair enough and to be expected considering their prime location that is probably overcrowded during summer (but was more than half empty on this winter day). The treatment by the arrogant, self-absorbed supervisor was something we’ve never experienced and results in a low rating.

(note that the rest of the (serving) staff was young, hardworking, seemingly nice and deserved a better review. The owner should consider promoting...

Check your bill before paying! We visited Malaga last week and had our first lunch at Amigos. The food was very nice and at the end we asked the waiter for our bill. Instead of presenting the bill he brought the card machine and just told me the bill was 63 Euro. I tapped to pay, and after paying I asked him to bring the actual bill so I could see the breakdown of what we had as it seemed expensive. He brought the bill, and I realised he had overcharged us for an extra large beer and 2 waters which came to exactly 10 Euro, so the original correct amount should have been 53 euro. We had been overcharged by 10 euro exactly. I asked him to refund the 10 and he did. It seemed to me very odd that when we asked for the bill he didn't bring it - just the card machine and the overcharge was exactly 10 euro. I wont accuse him but I felt if I hadn't of asked for the bill he could have inputted 53 into the till and said the extra 10 was his tip. Make sure to see your bill before paying. Otherwise this is a nice restaurant and we did go back as it suited us because of location. The score is a mix of our visits as one other visit was particularly bad for service and because it can be very busy there it can also be messy and difficult to get staff attention. Some staff are excellent. The location is great and there is a huge choice of food which makes it a good choice. That was a very bad first experience though and I am really not sure if it was a mistake...
