It was a major waste of my precious time. Let’s just say French hospitality or to be more precise lack there of fails again. 15 minutes wait to order the drinks that never arrived. We wanted to Order drinks and food at the same time only to be answered by one of the lady server ‘ there is an order of people, you came last, we will serve the people who came first, then we will serve you’. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. It’s either you run a restaurant or you don’t, if the kitchen and waiting staff and not capable To deliver in a timely manner, don’t bother. 30 minutes passed, drinks still have not arrived. No food coming out of the kitchen at all. There are a bunch of people waiting and no one is eating as kitchen is not capable to cope. 45 minutes passed. We asked where our food was? Only to be answered again that we need to wait for our turn. That’s when I reached the boiling point, stood up and left. Rude, incompetent staff as well as the kitchen that is not able to cope with orders. Save your time and avoid. PS menu mediocre. If you are going to Mahón, then give the overpriced harbour restaurants a miss and head straight to Cafe Soho in Mahon old town. Enjoy a stroll through the historic centre and take a table either outside on the square or inside in the beautifully designed intimate restaurant. The food is lovingly prepared and the crispy fried squid and octopus is amongst the best I’ve ever eaten! Wow one of the nicest meals we had on Menorca. My husband had the steak and said it was one of the best he’s ever had. I had the duck, and it was beautifully cooked with a delicious orange sauce. Service a little slow at times but it was quite busy, and we are now in off season. Love a place where the menu is written in chalk on a board, shows it’s kept fresh and up to date !
