We decided to try the BBQ in this restaurant because we were in this area yesterday and we read the reviews, which were quite good. I'd definitely say it was worth it and must mention, the service really added to the experience - because it was very good. Very friendly service, they checked if everything was good ( at least twice ) and didn't keep us waiting long ( though the place was almost full ). I asked for an opinion and the girl who attended our table suggested me to try the short ribs with thier BBQ sauce (which, according to her, had a sweet taste to it that she personally enjoyed ) - I decided to try. AND it was very moist + tender and very good indeed. I normally don't like beef that much, but this - I loved!!!. Excellent suggestion and I'll definitely be more than glad to have more. (My friends also tried it and agreed that it was very good).
My friends ordered the meat combo and they mostly loved it (We shared and tasted everything). They only did not like the pork belly ( I wouldn't know why, because I don't eat pork, and they didn't specify why ). They loved the pulled pork though (with the bun) and enjoyed the chicken very much. They were OK with the beef brisket BUT I actually found it very good 😅. I enjoyed that it had a very pleasant smoky flavour and that it was not too dry. For me it was 👌🏼
Anyway we also tried the croquettas and chicken wings - they were really good, we could've gladly had more 👍🏻 (* The croquettas were one of the best I've had so far and the chicken wings were very well seasoned with a delightful sauce.)
We wanted to try dessert too, but we were so stuffed we decided we'll try it another time. The menu had an interesting selection of desserts that looked very tempting ( which I'm sure very good too ).

Read moreI was very excited to find this restaurant. Excited enough to sit and wait 30min until they open, even though I hadnt had a warm meal today yet.
I browsed the menu while I waited and settled for the short ribs, and croquettes for start as I was starving. Croquettes were quite good. Then came the short ribs I had been salivating over. This is something that slow smoking brings to perfection. With time and low temperature, it is very hard to mess this up as it's a part of meat with sufficient fat to protect the juiciness.
Unfortunately that was not the case here, it had been quite thoroughly ruined by drying it in a too hot pit for too short a time. I tried to eat the parts with at least glazing on it but gave up as I ran out of cole slaw and this pulverizing in my mouth by itself was not a pleasant experience. The cole slaw was quite good btw.
I am not sure which language was the waiter's forte. It definitely wasnt english, but apparently not spanish either. When he came around, I pointed to the meat and said "es muy seca", and he proceeded to bring it back to me in a doggybag container. Even if my dog wasnt thousands of miles away, I wouldnt have given that to him as he doesnt even get to try to drown it with beer.
I really wanted to love this restaurant and go back again tomorrow. I won't. Perhaps it was just a bad day for the pit master but I won't risk such a disappointment after high expectations. A good pit master never serves mistakes like these. I'll rather have mediocre...
Read moreWe went to this place because of the recommendations. While the service and food was fine, we were very disappointed by the overall experience. We had a reservation for 1pm and we were there right on time. It was expected from us, to stay just two hours at our table, but this was never mentioned by the staff beforehand.
We ordered right away one starter, hamburgers, ribs, and pork. The starter arrived very late at 2:10pm to our table. Then, as they realized, that time is running out, they already brought the main dishes at 2:20pm to our table, when we haven't even finished the starter. Finally at 2:50pm the staff came to our table (when even some of our group were still eating), telling us, that we have to clear the table before 3pm.
