Ochenta Grados Valdebebas — Restaurant in Madrid

I recently visited 80 Grados, a lovely restaurant located in Valdebebas. This place specializes in offering a variety of Mediterranean dishes and promises a unique culinary experience, as all their dishes are prepared at low temperatures to maintain the properties and original flavors of the ingredients used.

The restaurant's decor is modern and elegant, with perfect lighting that creates a warm atmosphere. Additionally, the space is quite large, ensuring that I’ve never had issues getting a table; however, I always recommend making a reservation.

The staff was exceptional. From the moment we entered, we were treated with kindness and attention. Once seated, we received the menu, which has a wide variety of options. The waiters made sure to ask if we were new to the place, and if so, they explained how the menu worked. They recommended ordering three dishes per person to fully enjoy the experience.

On my first visit, I decided to try their star dish: the “truffled egg,” a delight that combines ham, crispy potatoes, and an exquisite truffled egg. I also ordered the “squid croquettes,” which were amazing and had a perfect texture. Finally, I enjoyed the “slow-roasted lamb with gnocchi, pumpkin, and gorgonzola.” For dessert, I opted for the “Oreo cake,” which had an incomparable flavor. The accompanying cheese was delicious, and the dulce de leche ice cream added a fantastic touch.

In my opinion, the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food; a total of three dishes, one dessert, and drinks cost me a fair amount, approximately €20-30.

One disadvantage I noticed is that the restaurant is busy during lunch hours, which can cause the service to slow down a bit at times. However, the quality of the food made the wait worth it.

I would recommend 80 Grados to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Valdebebas. It’s a perfect place for couples or groups of friends wanting to enjoy a nice meal in a pleasant environment.

He tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar de este restaurante dos veces y puedo asegurar con certeza que le seguirán muchas veces más. 😋

En primer lugar voy a hablar de los platos que hemos disfrutado y ya estoy deseando meterle mano al resto jajaja:

Bebidas: Dis-tinto de verano. Se ha convertido en la bebida de mi vida.

Salmorejo con helado de parmesano y jamón ibérico. Un plato tan delicioso que es difícil describirlo, hay que probarlo! Una combinación perfecta de sabores.

Pan de queso - Si te gusta el pan de queso, tienes que probarlo. No solo por su presentación, sino por su rico sabor.

Empanadillas de Langostinos - Impresionante el contraste de sabores. Sin duda, un plato que no te deja indiferente.

Huevo trufado - Plato estrella donde los haya. Lo he pedido las dos veces y las dos veces me ha conquistado. En cada bocado, se disfruta de su increíble sabor. Si eres de tortilla poco hecha, este es tu plato.

Milhojas Vegetal - Un plato que pasa desapercibido, que si no eres de verduras, no se te pasa por la cabeza pedirlo, pero es intensamente recomendable. En el primer bocado hay una explosión de tantos sabores que nunca creerías que un plato como este sea capaz de conquistar tus papilas gustativas.

Raviolis de Chilli Crab - Recomendación de Ulises en mi primera visita y acierto de pleno. Aun me arrepiento de no haberlos pedido en mi segunda visita, estoy deseando volver para enmendar mi error. Es tan increíble su sabor que querrás pedirlo una y otra vez.

Hamburguesa Cantonesa - Cuando estás indeciso y no sabes qué escoger porque todo suena increíble, aparece Ulises y te dice "¿has probado la hamburguesa?" y como por arte de magia aparece en la mesa y puedes saborear la perfecta combinación de sus ingredientes.

Sándwich tostado de costilla melosa - Si la primera vez me pareció brutal la explosión de sabores en mi boca, la segunda vez que fui sabía que no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de repetir este plato. Y, en esta ocasión, no sobró ni un poco de la salsa. Nada más que añadir.

POSTRES: En mi segunda visita, tomamos Leche con galletas, un postre realmente sorprendente si te gusta el dulce pero que recomiendo compartir. En mi primera visita (y en las sucesivas lo pediré), probé el Blanco Limón: solo diré que cuando lo probé pensé "y tú, dónde has estado toda mi vida?". Sí o sí, lo tienes que pedir.

Para terminar, déjame hablarte de 80 y su equipo. Cada persona que se acercaba a nuestra mesa a traernos una bebida o un plato, lo hacía con una profesionalidad destacable y la verdad que es de agradecer el trato recibido a cada momento que estuve allí en ambas ocasiones.

Mi último comentario, se lo voy a dedicar a Ulises quien, desde que llegas a 80, hace todo lo posible para que te lleves una grata sensación de tu visita. Y, por supuesto, te invita a volver. Una persona agradable, cercana y con una sonrisa sincera que te hace sentir cómodo desde al primer momento. Ulises, gracias por tu trato, tu cercanía, tus recomendaciones... como pudiste ver dije que volvería y volví y, como te dije, volveré! Enhorabuena porque haces un trabajo increíble. Sigue así! Nos vemos pronto.

Perfect recipe on how to destroy a restaurant with horrible service and staff with attitude....

We got a complaint from the staff because our daughter asked for a different glass for her water hahahaha...

Have been in many places however there is always a first time... This was the first time someone complained from the staff for providing a different glass for water than the standard one...

I asked the manager and he took it personally and was even ruder instead of saying it's no big deal it's just an empty glass hahaha...

The food was great however the entire experience was ruined because of the incompetent staff...

I would not recommend anyone to come here til they get some decent staff including the manager....
