This cozy little wine bar in the heart of Madrid is a true hidden gem. Founded by three Parisians, it perfectly captures the effortless charm and elegance of Paris — right in the middle of the Spanish capital. From the moment you step inside, you feel transported to a stylish bistro in Le Marais or Montmartre. The wine selection is thoughtful and beautifully curated. The staff are warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. They’re more than happy to share stories about the wines and their history. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed — soft lighting, great music, and just the right amount of buzz from the other tables. It’s the perfect place for a romantic evening, a catch-up with friends, or even a solo glass with a good book. If you’re in Madrid and love good wine with a touch of Parisian soul, don’t miss this place. A truly special experience.

My partner and I stumbled onto this gorgeous wine bar in Madrid whilst we were strolling the city. We stopped for some late afternoon tapas and shared a bottle of wine and we had a lovely time! Turns out, this establishment is new, and we were blown away by the lovely staff / owners, their hospitality, service and knowledge of wine, and of course the delicious food. We shared the leeks in vinaigrette, asparagus with labneh, and fries with a yummy herb mayo. We washed this down with a beautiful French rosè wine. We wish this place all the best!! I’m sure many others will have an amazing time there just like we did!

Dinner at Amis is always a blast, definitely one of Madrid's gems! The dishes on the menu are all super flavourful, you’ll literally want to order everything. The team is amazing, three friends who share their good vibes and love of culinary experiences to all of their guests. And the wine options are insane (also some natural wines!!), you can trust the sommelier to always bring you exactly what you want to drink. I always recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice dinner idea. Check it out:)
