We stumbled upon a cute bakery and cafe in Madrid, Spain on a visit in April 2024. We were greeted with smiles and looked over the Spanish and English menu. The servers spoke a bit of English which was helpful. We ordered one Chai tea and one Cafe latte with a shot of espresso, to dine in. We decided to add one pistachio and one cream Brule donut to pair with our drinks after asking the bakers for recommendations. We found a table close to the window so we could people watch and settled in. It was semi crowded that day, but not too busy. The tables were marble with black accents. Very clean and warm at the same time. The pistachio donut was a tad sweeter than I'd like, but it was fresh. And the cream on the inside was devine. My friends cream Brule donut came with a small gold hammer to crack the top. It was a fun unquie experience and she said it was tasty. We sat until we finished our drinks and donuts. We were never rushed to leave, which I love about Europe. I definitely recommend this bakery for an easy slow morning or a quick to go item.

A really cozy cafe with very interesting products. I love the interior design of the place. The glazed donut is just the perfect sweetness! Ordered coffee frappe and was also satisfied. The staffs though were not great. They professionalism and friendliness unfortunately didn’t match the beauty and prestige of this place. It would have been a perfect atmosphere if the music blended with the design of the place. There were some nice old music then it switches to a modern noisy one. This cafe can definitely do better if they play the more appropriate music. I appreciate the effort they put in giving the toilet a nice cozy design and it was very spacious! The owners were there when I dined in and they were very welcoming and friendly!

Great coffee shop, especially if you’re looking for a dessert or a bagel to go with it! Their bakery was way better than I would’ve expected in a Spanish coffee shop, everything tasted great. The coffee was also smooth and not bitter whatsoever, a really pleasant experience. We stopped by for a quick bite, and honestly I left wishing we had more time to order more food. I’ve heard this is a relatively new place, so I hope their business keeps going well because I’ll definitely come back on my next yearly Madrid trip!

I was in Madrid for a couple weeks last month and did not expect to find a donut and bagel place like this!! Growing up in NYC, I'm very spoiled when it comes to bagels and donuts. On my 2nd day in Madrid I was told by a friend to stop at Born & Glazed. I didn't expect much but once I arrived I was already excited. The atmosphere was amazing, the place was lively, and I was excited as ever to try donuts/bagels outside of the US.

I ordered the Salmon bagel and the OG donut. I have to say... these donuts were better than the ones I grew up eating in NYC. The bagel is just like the ones in NYC!! Something I noticed is that they felt LESS heavy on my stomach than the ones I am used to eating!

I couldn't believe it.

The manager was so nice and told me about the history of the store! I give this place a 10/10 and hope to come back next year when I visit Spain...
