We arrived for dinner with a reservation at the agreed hour, only to find the place fully booked and waiting for over 30 minutes, actually 40 minutes. Some indoor tables became available slightly earlier, but the temperature inside was unbearable. After a long wait, where other people with reservations decided to leave, they offered us a table inside as the air conditioning had been restored. Our welcome was far from perfect. However, the service was very competent, and the food was served quickly. We ordered an special barbecue with assorted grilled meats and a traditional Argentinean “milanesa.” Both were pretty good. The milanesa was large and tasty, and the meat cuts were tender and full of flavour. After the meal, the apologised profusely for the delay and offered us some drinks and a dessert on the house. I liked the dinner, and although we had a rough start, I should recognise the efforts they made to compensate for it. Pricing was a bit high, I think. We used a special promotion, so the tab was reasonable, but with the regular price, I’m not sure I would come back.

I had a fantastic time with my friend at Brasa Gaucha Grill in Madrid. We had barbecue and coleslaw salad and potato fries and for drinks we had lemonade and campari cocktail. The meal was so sumptuous and in large quantities, one set was enough for the two of us, we could barely finish it. The drinks especially the lemonade was so good, we had to get another glass. We were attended to by Vanessa who was really patient, took her time to explain the meals and drinks in English as we didn’t understand Spanish. She also took the amazing pictures of us. I highly recommend here for your next visit to madrid. Adios…

Great surprise find 5 minutes walk from La Reina museum. Super casual Argentian steak joint. Don't dress up specially unless you want to. Portions generous and waitstaff friendly and attentive. Menus in Spanish and English. Food superb, we did empenadas, steaks, salad and Argentinian pancake for dessert. All food is hand made and super fresh. I recommend the house salad which comes with caramelized goat cheese, fig preserves and walnuts. All we could eat, drinks and dessert for 28E a head. Excellent value.
