I don’t understand why this place has such a good note. The name “La Rue” would suggest that it’s inspired from the French cuisine, but I haven’t found anything French there... apart from names. I was happy to find on their menu crepes with compote. Compote! I miss it so much in Spain. However, what they name “compote” was a normal marmalade, which I hate. Or someone there didn’t understand what compote really is, or they just lie. The food there is stuffed with sugar. Seriously, eating sugar with a spoon would be just the same as eating their crepe. Vegan or gluten free options would be a reason for me to come back....

He mocks my Mexican accented Spanish to the other waiter. He would imitate Mexican slang to the other coworker in earshot. And he berated that same waiter while we were paying! First time I thought it was funny but second time I realized it was genuinely mean spirited. I give 2 stars because the food is good, just the vibe is off due to the work staff...
