Dolce&Vegana Enjoy Ethically — Restaurant in Madrid

Mañana 15 de mayo del 2023 os propongo una experiencia psicodélica (y si no para el año que viene... o para ir en general, como el local está Madrid Río... y está muy bien situado...):

la experiencia psicodeleitosa es ir al paraíso vegano, este paraíso que es Dolce&Vegana (y parece que será una sorpresa si vais, porque además puede haber sorpresas en lo que os traigan a la mesa... y hasta aquí puedo "leer"...),

... y luego ir a las fiestas de San Isidro, a la pradera de San Isidro (mañana último día, creo), a oler los interminables puestos de venta de carne, etc., para ver por ejemplo "cómo estáis emocionalmente" con lo que sintáis... con los recuerdos asociados a esos olores, etc. :) ... y así.

Aunque sea lunes... mañana 15 me dijo que abrían; o sea, quien creo que es la muy simpática y amable dueña, me dijo que abrían

(es curioso, porque en google veo que pone "lunes cerrado". Quizá mañana, al ser festivo, sí abre).

Por cierto, salí de Dolce&Vegana... casi queriendo "sonreír todo el rato", algo "reconciliado con la vida" :) ... (aunque eso es mucho pedir :), a veces... tras ver lo que podemos ver luego en la pradera de San Isidro :) )... Las fotos no me salen muy bien con el móvil, así a bote pronto, pero ahí están.

Es: una tarta (de las que les quedaba sin devorar, pues los "malvados" de los muchos fans del sitio, ya habían acabado con la tarta que quería probar :) )...

y un café con bola de helado (un 'affogato', aunque con helado de stracciatella (lo digo porque veo que el postre típico italiano parece ser con helado sabor vainilla)),

... y las sorpresas secretas, que dije... :) ... muy ricas...

It is a cute place with nice ice cream, but the portion size for the chocolate cake was maybe two spoonfuls. After being to numerous of vegan desserts restaurants in Madrid the portions here are the smallest I’ve come across in all of Madrid. It was half the size as any other vegan restaurant I’ve been to and price does not justify the size at all. I left disappointed and a little ripped off. Come here for the ice cream, but ask to see to the portion of the cake you get before...

I can’t stress how good the food was and how friendly the person working there was. We found this restaurant/cafe because we were looking for vegan spots in Madrid. It was a little far from where we were staying but the pictures looked good. The person there was very kind and patient with us as our understanding of Spanish is limited and we can barely speak it at all.
