Sala La Riviera — Attraction in Madrid

I almost died because I was drugged here. The one and only drink I had that night and it was there and was I drugged by it. Not even 30 minutes after i noticed something was wrong and literally ran away from the friends because they were on the dance floor near the middle and it was too loud to tell them anything and I knew I had to get out immediately ! I ran to go to the front desk and told the lady something is wrong and that I need immediate help and she told me it’s not her problem that I chose to go there and that I should go outside and figure it out ! Like wow ! I go outside and try to pull out my phone but I can’t even see it anymore , I start losing consciousness and start screaming people to help me because I’m freaking out. They think I’m going crazy next thing I know im grabbing people and asking them to help then suddenly I’m fighting people and then at some point police show up and choke me out . At that point I’m pretty sure I died because I was conscious but everything was black and there was nothing . Then I heard my name being called and saw a light and woke up for a second inside of an ambulance ! I passed out again and woke up in the hospital! I was strapped to the bed and when the doctor finally decided to come speak to me i was told i was pretty much dead and thanks to the people in the ambulance they saved my life because if it had been just even 5 more minutes I would’ve been dead . If I hadn’t gone outside immediately I would have died from an overdose. I really believe the bartenders and staff know more about what’s going on there and they don’t care. Be careful going here ! Pésimo trato por los guardias, en específico uno calvo con barba y tatuajes, teníamos mis amigos y yo, en total un grupo de 12 personas, entradas para una fiesta de la universidad, sacan a mi hermano, pareja y mi amigo primero de la fila, les piden el DNI, se lo dan y les pasa el escaner sin decir nada, ellos pensando que les estaban dejando entrar ya que era nuestra primera vez yendo, siguen calmados, el guardia les pregunta que con quien van, mi hermano me señala a mi y a mis amigos, y sólo me saca a mi, y como yo ya iba a entrar, tenía la entrada en la mano, sin pedirme DNI ni carné universitario, este último no nos lo pidió a ninguno, me pasa el escaner por la entrada y me dice "ya te he devuelto la entrada" y al pasar esta situación dos amigas mías se quedaron conmigo y a ellas les dijeron que o pasaran o se les hacía la devolución también, y yo pregunté que por qué nos hacían la devolución, y simplemente decían que se reservaban al derecho de admisión, que lo puedo entender si hubiera sido por la vestimenta, pero no es el caso, esperando a ver si nos dicen algo, vemos que echan igual de la fila a otro latino y un marroquí, con las mismas explicaciones, que se reservan al derecho de admisión. Pedimos explicaciones y hojas de reclamaciones y no nos la quieren dar, nos dicen "no tenemos porqué hablar contigo" le vuelven a decir a mi amiga que pase o se queda fuera, y a mi me sigue diciendo que no que yo no. Entonces mi amigo se acerca a otro guardia a preguntarle por qué ha pasado esto y viene otro guardia a decirnos "os vais u os meto un guantazo" y se encara a mi amigo, mi amigo se aparta porque el guardia venía a pegarlo, cuando nunca hicimos alboroto, a todo esto yo estaba llamando a la policía, llega la policía y lo que el guardia les dice es que no presentamos el carné universitario cuando nunca nos lo pidió y que yo he sido agresiva, cuando lo único que hice fue preguntar por qué nos negaba la entrada y pedir una hoja de reclamación que no se nos quiso dar. A la policía le mostramos el DNI, carné universitario, íbamos acorde a las normas de vestimenta, la causa por la que no nos dejaron entrar fue simplemente por nuestro color de piel. Ya con la policía sí nos dieron la hoja de reclamaciones y fuimos a comisaría a poner la respectiva denuncia hacia esos dos guardias, al que nos amenazó y el que nos discriminó. No es la primera vez que pasa por lo que puedo ver en otras reseñas, y por experiencias de otras amigas que ya han ido antes a este lugar, ojalá no borren esta reseña y puedan recapacitar y ver mejor a quienes contratan, el derecho de admisión no...

Travelled over from England to see The Cult here, a birthday treat from my partner who lives in Spain. Fantastic venue, not too big, not too small. Couldn't take cakes in, but no biggy, just ate them outside (forgot i had those in my bag). The sound in the venue was absolutely fantastic. The venue is surrounded by a very new and quite lovely landscape - if The Cult hadn't raindanced up a huge storm over Madrid, it would have been fantastic to have a long walk to have a look around before we went in - but they had, so that wasn't possible. Oh, and the venue has air con, thankfully, as it was packed to the rafters 😊 Had a great night - fantastic gig - and would definitely recommend the venue.
