Kooby Kebab — Restaurant in Madrid

I just passed by this place while my head was in the clouds but as soon as I entered, I was greeted by a lovely and welcoming smile by the owner. He was very attentive to me all throughout my stay there and he was very kind.

The place is very clean and well-maintained. Great portions of great food too. I paid 7,90€ for this ‘menu’ and it was a lot for me so I had to takeaway my leftover.

This is the best kebab that I had in Madrid. The biggest benefit is that they are making their own bread for the kebab right in front of you. For this reason it is fresh and hot. The owner of the restaurant is very inviteful and friendly. The kitchen was of good quality, the vegetables are fresh.

¿Es el mejor Lahmacun que me he comido en mi vida? Es el mejor Lahmacun que me he comido en mi vida. La masa es un espectáculo, recién horneada, crujiendo a cada bocado cual patata Pringle, nada que ver con las masas recalentadas en microondas y chiclosas que ponen en otros Kebabs habitualmente. La ensalada fresca, con su punto justo de cebolla para poder besar a tu pareja después de comer sin ganarse una cobra bien merecida, y acompañada de zanahoria cortada en juliana a un calibre adecuado. La carne puede pasar desapercibida al no diferir de sabor de otras carnes de Kebab, pero el corte perfecto hace que no encuentres pedazos mas grandes que las raciones del DiverXO. Y no podía terminar sin hablar de las patatas, ¡Qué patatas! Vienen sazonadas con una mezcla de especias que te trasladan directamente a las calles de Agrabah en las que Aladdin pasó de ser un ratero callejero a un príncipe. Son tan sabrosas que no necesitan la salsa que las acompaña (en una tarrina a parte para no mancillar dicha experiencia culinaria).
