MH Apartments Soho Madrid — Hotel in Madrid

Worst hotel/apartment experience in over 50 years of international traveling and when we asked for a partial refund, they admitted the many issues but REFUSED to give us any compensation. They stonewalled not only us but also Expedia.com when we filed a formal complaint with Expedia. Unit was clean and a nice size, but that is where the "good" stopped. Advertised to have a safe and washer/dryer, both very important to us, but NEITHER worked during our entire stay. MH neglected to disclose to us that they were already broken before we came and not scheduled to be repaired untill the last day of our 8 night stay (even then they were not fixed). MH told us this on the 4th day!!! No working wifi/internet until day 4 when they finally gave us a new code for the wifi, TV would freeze off and on our entire stay. On day 4 all appliances, the hot water heater and 1/2 the electrical plugs went out as the genius that built out our apartment (only 2 years ago) put the hair dryer, hot water heater, towel warmer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, cooktop, oven, microwave and refrigerator on the same circuit!! MH Madrid seldom picked up the phone when we our the many other disgruntled tenants tried to reach them or we were told to call back the next day and get ignored all over again. All they want is your $$$ and don't dare bother them if anything...

Very nice and well equipped apartment. You have almost everything you need to include basic first couple of days cleaning supplies. Enough towels and toilet paper for 4 people. Nice nespresso original pod machine, big size fridge, dishwasher, and fully automatic washing machine. The only two negative things were the weirdly uncomfortable toilet seat and the lack of a second mirror in the bedroom or living room.
