La Terraza de Óscar — Restaurant in Madrid

I was here on a weekend with one of my best friends and we had an amazing experience. The staff was very happy and helpful. Especially this one guy on terrace who we thought was really kind and professional. I think his name was something like Orlando or so? He spoke really good English so he took really good care of us and recommended the best cocktails I had in my life. He really knows how to do his job with a big smile and still keep it very professional. That’s something we haven’t really experienced in other bars here in Madrid so that was very cool. The drinks were nice enough even if the initially brought the wrong stuff, the rushed us with the bill before our food was even out. When they went to charge us we asked to pay separate but they charged the first person the entire bill plus an unasked tip. They were blasé and unapologetic about it, they gave her back the tip but we're not nice about it. When they bought us the bill again so we could sort the rest among ourselves the had added an extra drink and took very long to fix it. This was my second year attending this Awesome Hotel. All the staff made me feel very welcome and even tho I have a lank in Spanish they managed to help me out in English. The rooms where beautiful however I think my favourite section was the roof top pool bar. Thank you especially to Orlando who worked there. He gave 5 star service with a smile and was always able to help with recommendations of places to visit in Madrid. Well done guys on your amazing customer care.
