Taste of America Chueca — Local services in Madrid

€€€ This is not a place to go "shopping shopping". This is a place to pickup unique treats you are really really craving and things you REALLY miss from the states. The mark up is like 60-70% but what do you expect from imports with average shelf lives? The work that goes into this shop makes it eorth it. The staff is friendly and the selection is very interesting. I was hoping to find span or A1 sauce but I ended leaving with some cereal. Hamburger helper was 9€/box, so was quakers instant oatmeal and pop tarts. Here's some things they have off the top of my head you might be looking for (6/8/22): . Reeces peanutbutter cups, bars, and chips . Peanutbutter . Bbq sauces . Salsas in a jar (ghost pepper, queso, habinero, ect) . Cap'n crunch, trix, cinnamon toast crunch, ect . Cornbread mix . Brown sugar fine (light and dark) . Hot sauces . Poptarts (huge selection) . Dr. Pepper . Beef jerky (jacks) . Pancake mix and maple syrup . Strawberry and chocolate syrup . Sloppy Joe mix packets . Taco seasoning . Dill pickles . Lots of Hersheys products + baking elements . Cheesewhiz and shelf stable nacho cheese Overall it's a godsend if you got the money. One thing I absolutely love is the bargin bin for things close to expiration. I'm super happy to have this store as an option and I wish them many years of success. VAT makes...

Sinceramente Taste of América Chueca ya no es lo que en su día fue; Un pequeño rincón con productos auténticos ( y no de imitación ) de Estados Unidos 🇺🇲

Es de aclarar que con las nuevas políticas absurdas de la Unión Europea "contra el plástico" han quitado muchísimos productos que les ha dado la real gana.

Dificultando a la ve ta y a la prosperidad ( en general ) de tiendas muy elaboradas y muy interesantes ( Desde mi humilde opinión y gusto por supuesto ).

Ya no venden los famosos vasos rojos de aquellos universitarios que veíamos en las películas típicas americanas.

Varios otros productos han desaparecido, bueno, no, no han desaparecido, si no que la Unión Europea PROHÍBE que se traigan.

Conozco Taste of América hace muchos años y hayan prohibido ciertos productos o no, me sigue encantando, de verdad.

Os dejo unas fotillos que hice porque merece la pena visitar cualquiera de las tiendas que tenéis en Madrid.

Eso sí, la señora que me atendió es un amor la verdad.
