Minelli 1960 — Restaurant in Madrid

I came to the place with my dad without any reservations and the restaurant wasn’t even open yet. However the owner, Alberto, was there and let us in. He was a very helpful and warm person and spoke with us as well throughout the whole dining experience.

The food was amazing. We started with some drinks and carpaccio which were just incredible. He offered us some Italian balsamic and per his word it was really nice to eat the carpaccio with the balsamic. We ordered a pizza called Diavola which was really good. The meat, the sauce and the bread were all so good. Lastly, we got some tiramisu which was homemade as well. His wife is the one who makes all of these tiramisus every morning. I can say that this tiramisu was so tasteful. The cream and the cake part both tastes amazing.

The place is in Serrano in a less touristic area which makes it great because there was no extra loud noises like you would expect from a city like Madrid. It was in a more local area but still very close to the more touristic part of Serrano.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely fantastic! We’ve eaten at this Italian restaurant twice now, and both experiences were amazing. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious — you can really tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into every dish. The flavors were authentic and comforting, just like a great Italian meal should be.

The service was excellent both times as well. The staff is friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy great food, and know you’ll be taken care of.

I came to this restaurant twice. First time to try pana cotta which is very difficult to find in Madrid. Minelli surprised me with their absolutely amazing desserts, so I decided to come back again and try some main dishes. I had pasta and it was 10/10. The most tasty pasta I've had so far. The mix of ingredients is impeccable! Will definitely come back again and again to try more food on their menu.

The staff is very friendly and they genuinely care about their guests. The owner is here to recommend best food/wine choice up to your liking and preferences.

The place itself is clean and cosy.
