I had lunch here on a weekday. Service was mid, but each dish was so tasty. Starting with a tinto de verano, it was pretty good but more expensive at 5 euros. I read from the Michelin website that the chef is known for the iconic torrezno and taco with Latin American influences. Naturally I ordered those two as well as the sandwich and callos from the "siempre" menu. From "lo de hoy", I tried the short rib and sea bass. For dessert I got the torta de queso.
What I found interesting is they remove used silverware and prepare new ones between dishes. The torrezno is 3 euros per piece, so I recommend ordering one per person. The half order of sandwich comes with two pieces; the full order comes with four pieces. The sea bass and short rib were served individually; each person had his own plate. The callos was last to be served, but before dessert of course.
This is a restaurant I would come back to visit and highly recommend. I love that they offer half portions because I just like to try various dishes without getting too full. Torrezno is definitely something...

This restaurant takes classic Spanish ingredients/dishes and puts their own unique spin on them. For Jan - we ordered: torrenzo (pork belly): super crispy and flavourful pork belly. Goes well with this bread boars head sandwich on croissant bread: bread was flakey just like a croissant, and the rest of the dish helped cut down on the gaminess of the boar rabbit with green beans: rabbit flavour wasn’t too distinct, but this might have more to do with the sauce. Green beans were fresh and delicious chickpea and ear stew: you’ll like this if you like cartilage. Uses pig ear pretty sure beef ribs in shepards marinade: super flavourful and tender beef in a slightly sweet glaze flan for dessert: creamy yet light and refreshing. Very satisfying way to...
Read moreHad the pleasure to celebrate my bday in this cozy Spanish modern tavern🥳. The managers made the unique exception of hosting my celebration, even though, the venue is petit and they usually don’t serve to groups of more than 7 people. We were blind served the best items of the menu, curated by the best server, Andrés. We started with the famous torreznos, crispy and crunchy 🐖. Followed by the croquetas de jamón🍘 that exploded in your mouth 💥! The Brioche the albóndiga, will surprise you with its mahonesa especiada. Arroz meloso will heat up your Spanish appetite 💃🏻. And of course, THE DISH you must order: Sandwich theCabeza de Jabalí 🐗 (a new unique concept of a sandwich) based on a croissant bread🥐. The tarta de 🧀 will wrap up to perfection this gourmet 🇪🇸 tasting! A perfect starter of a new year trip around...
