Ortiz Sushi and Pinoy Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Madrid

i recently moved to Madrid and this quickly became my go-to sushi spot. the food is INCREDIBLE and the staff is very friendly (i believe it’s family owned?)

We stumbled upon this sushi place after a long, busy day, and it was exactly what we needed…It was super close to our accommodation, so very convenient to get to. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, a lovely spot to wind down.

We were pleasantly surprised with complimentary spring rolls (a nice touch I didn’t know about in advance). The service was warm and the food hit the spot.

This restaurant is owned by a lovely filipino family. It is not the traditional Japanese food I had in Japan but it is tasty, not bad for European standards and the price range.

The spring rolls are complimentary, they are crispy and delicious.

I recommend the chicken skewers. Children will love this. The rolls and sushi are delicious too.
