Pava Cafetería — Restaurant in Madrid

Después de varias visitas me he decidido a poner un análisis a una de mis cafeterías favoritas.

Tiene una decoración moderna y con soluciones funcionales pero cuidada y agradable de mirar. Tienen una mesita fuera y ventanales en la entrada, bancos corridos con mesas con sillas en la entrada y mesas al fondo. Música bajita que da buen ambiente. Todo muy limpio y muchas plantitas. La cocina está en el centro del local totalmente expuesta, lo que me gusta.

Ambiente siempre de gente joven(no hablo de edad biológica) y educada, sin aire acondicionado pero se ventila bien. Aceptan animales así que algún ladrido puede pasar.

En comida tienen variedad de dulce y salado con personalidad. Está vez pedí la tostada con tomate triturado y aceite de oliva. El pan estaba tostado perfectamente, bien para cortarse o morderse y el tomate con un triturado, que no batido, perfecto y muy disfrutable. Le ponen una ramita de tomillo por encima, a mí me encanta comérmela pero es fácil de retirar. Como extra pedí un huevo a baja temperatura, viene en su cáscara con sal y pimienta molida y estaba en su punto. De postre un pan de yuca, que me recuerda a pan de queso brasileño y está también muy rico.

Café en este día Brasil. Muy rico, con dulzor de regaliz y acidez frutal pero algo terroso y con exceso de agua, recomiendo pedir single o risttreto si os gusta café tipo espresso.

Los fines de semana se puede llenar y he esperado en algún momento una hora para sentarme. O vienes pronto o tienes suerte o mejor buscar otro sitio esos días. Igualmente el staff es súper profesional, agradable y sonriente incluso en esos momentos.

PD. Un truco si vengo con el coche es aparcar gratuitamente en el centro comercial que está justo al lado, no se lo contéis a nadie.

Specialty coffee shop close to the river. It's the first in Usera (I think) and run by Argentinians. The food is very good, above all the ricotta toast with pear and honey. They serve coffee from Ineffable, a specialty roaster in Sevilla. The espresso is a standard Brazilian with chocolate and almond flavors. I tried the batch brew, a very enjoyable Ethiopian with a sweet and slightly floral profile. The place tends to be packed on the weekends, especially when it's nice out. Been there a couple times already at 10am during weekend and both times I had to wait until croissant/cinnamon rolls are ready. The first time had to wait 30min and the second time I decided to not wait and find another coffee place. Everything was good but the fact things are not ready really makes me think if I will return or not.
