Dont get fooled by the 2K+ reviews and 4.3 star rating (at my time). We planned our vacation in Madrid and were super excited to try this place out because of the large number of reviews and relatively high rating. To start with, when we entered the restaurant, the place was literally empty and they insisted to seat us in a very secluded location from the restaurants core ambiance seats. After asking them multiple times, they told us to enter a different seating zone and choose another place. This altercation could have been easily avoided as it set the tone for our expectations before even tasting their food.

Next up, the food. We got the open sushi, with all honesty the best thing we consumed that day was the coca cola. They are quite generous with their dishes; you would see 8 pieces on most of their dishes which is pretty nice. The food is tasteless, the sushi paper they use is quite thin and screams low quality, and they keep using a form of cream cheese on their sushi’s which is quite distasteful.

For the cherry on top, I am sensitive to high sodium soja sauce. We kept asking them to give us the less salt version of the Kikkoman soja sauce which every decent sushi restaurant has, but they insisted that we dont know what we’re talking about. They have never heard of it apparently, and only serve the red (original) Kikkoman soja sauce.

Overall, I would highly not recommend this restaurant as the customer service is terrible, the food does not live up to the high review on google, and is simply not worth a sushi...

I would recommend you avoid this one! Price wasn’t good but it’s the bad quality food and terrible service that was the problem! Honestly the worst experience we’ve had at a restaurant. Their pricing seems to change depending on who you speak to despite the plans on the front door, we asked the first waiter what differences between the pricing options were, then we asked the boss, she told us they only have 24 euro option. Still we decided to eat there because we were so tired after that day’s travelling.

The worst part, while I was using the restroom the boss came back to us trying to force my partner to buy alcoholic drinks telling her we had to as part of the meal, this was not mentioned at any point.

She shouted at my partner in public said, every table needs to order at least one drink, my partner said if we don’t drink alcohol why you force us to do so? She kept shouting even you go to any restaurant you must order some drinks, she kept shouting us said okay okay okay, you can don’t order! The whole dinner made us extremely uncomfortable, we spend 49.8euro even couldn’t deserve some water, and also need to bare their shouting in public! If not because the food came to the table so fast, we will leave asap.

Wouldn’t recommend this one! Price wasn’t great but...

Very surprised to rate this restaurant so low since the general score is over 4 but I haven't encountered such bad treatment in a while. Food was somewhat below average, rice falling apart, gyozas cold and dry, sashimis were super thin about half a cm if that, so nothing like you can see from some of the photos.

The worst part by far was the service. The lady that sat us down couldn't have been rushing more if she wanted to. She didn't explain the ordering system well so after we handed her the paper she just proceeded to exclaim NO NO NO and started to take things off the list and run away. After asking her why she was doing it she just said we can't order more then 12 items. I tried to then change a few things we would have preferred ro have first, but she just left. Durinf the dinner she took a few plates away that still had food. After the meh food and bad service we didn't even order a second round so we asked for the bill. Instead of bringing it to us she just proceeded to clean the table and even threw a coca cola can in my friends lap, luckily it was empty. After asking again she yelled we pay upstairs.

We had had a wonderful trip to Madrid and this was luckily our only bad experience. Do...

Really nice and quiet place, with a specific atmosphere, food is tasty (don’t order chicken anything.. they are specified on sushi) You better come over in a company of 3-4 persons, because you can try everything in that case. The minus though is for menu. It’s king of complicated for 21st century.. you need to use your phone and scan QR code for menu and the menu online is not easy to understand as well) they don’t have paper menu you can quickly understand what you want) maybe it’s a psychological trick to slow you down idk I’ve been to many different countries and sushi restaurants and these is pretty fair food according to price/taste. The service is really good, but you need to wait a little bit for that are cooking (;

I wish I could give a rating of 3.5. The food is fairly decent (7/10), the prices are great, and the design or the restaurant is stunning, but the waiters are quite unfriendly, and while I was here with my friends, they forgot orders, brought us stuff we never ordered, or changed the ingredients of the sushi without even saying anything. I really wish that the waiters would tell you which order they brought. We spent so much time questioning our own orders and going back and forth in the menu to see if it was our mistake or the waiter's mistake. This place has a lot of potential, do I hope that things will be more organized in the future :)
