43 types of tapas!!! We chose this restaurant because it got such high number of Google reviews and were not disappointed. We arrived early enough, around 5 pm, to snag one of the last outdoor tables. Later, there was a line for a table. This restaurant is located in the heart of Grand Via, next to McDonalds. Choices ranged from the Bocaditos (various meats on bread), salads, egg patata, and seafood tapas. We got the Tartar de atun con mango y aguacate (mango and avocado), croquetas de tres quesos a de jamon iberica de bellota (ham and cheese croquette), Costille de cero Duroc (ribs with BBQ sauce), and what looked like a grilled ham sandwhich (new dish) and plus dessert (chocolate lava cake). The Patatas finas con alioli save y sat negra were French fries with an aioli sauce with black salt. I thought there was too much of a bread for the amount of ham in the sandwich. After we finally ordered, the food came within a reasonable time by various runners. We did not see our waitress much so it took a while before we could order dessert and a while before we could ask for the check. I felt badly for the long line of people waiting, since it was a several hour dinner due to the time it took for the waitress to come back. It was absolutely packed inside the restaurant, so likely she was busy inside. The outside tables have a wonderful view of the main street and is perfect for people watching and enjoying the lovely architectures. We did have one or two people coming by asking for money. Overall, we wanted to try good tapas while in Spain, and we enjoyed the experience at the restaurant.

I recently dined at Tapa Tapa in Madrid and had an incredible experience. The food was simply amazing – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each tapa offered a delightful burst of taste that left me wanting more. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal with friends or family. The service was outstanding, with special mention to Frank, who made our evening even more enjoyable with his attentive and friendly approach. His recommendations were spot-on, and he ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. If you're looking for a top-notch tapas experience in Madrid, Tapa Tapa is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend staying as far away from Tapa Tapa Montera as possible. This was my first (and may be my last) time having tapas in Spain. Although I have not had tapas before, I know what good food and service is and Tapa Tapa Montera has neither. The patatas bravas were fine, but they somehow managed to simultaneously overcook and undercook the steak (lomo de bajo). The steak was so tough and chewy while also raw in the center. The Caesar salad (recommended by the waitress) tasted worse than prepared grocery store salads. The food was barely edible, but the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Our waitress never came by our table, had to be flagged down for every order, took our drinks menu from us before we had ordered, left when we needed more time and never came back, and did not make eye contact with us once for the duration of the meal.

I have no idea who are all these people giving this place 5 stars. Ordered the patatas bravas, lomo de bajo, and Caesar salad (all explicitly recommended by the waitress), and everything was bad. The meat was tough, overcooked and completely raw at the same time (how do you do this?? A culinary marvel). The Caesar salad was DRENCHED in an extremely salty dressing to the point of inedibility. It’s incredibly overpriced too—we spent over 40 euros and left hungry. The service was HORRIBLE and extremely disorganized. The server took our drink menus before we ordered anything and avoided our table the rest of the time. This place may have turned me off of tapas altogether.

Walked to Tapa Tapa Monera around 9:45 am. Small little cafe with tight areas. I ordered Pack Flauta, it had a Tortilla Francesa Sandwich with a coffee on the side. Nice simple breakfast but it did it's job in making me feel full. My buddy got toast with Strawberry jam and butter. He liked his as well. The only bad thing is it took FOREVER to get my order in as well as paying. I know there were 3 other tables that were just waiting to pay as well and everyone was getting a bit antsy and irritated. The weird part was the employees continued to work normally when we all wanted to pay. Hope they fix this issue in the future!

Being one of the popular tapas spots, our expectations was perhaps a bit high. Our waitress was very kind and positive. But food. Oh my God. Such disappointment. We had calamari and squid ink seafood paella. Both were extremely greasy, like oil was literally dripping from Calamari, like you could smell the grease 👎 and who knows why; they put mayo on top of the paella. The coating around the calamari was so thick that you could not even taste the calamari. (see photos) It is a very nice place, good ambiance, we were hungry and we has to eat; but food was way below our expectations.
