BENO - Coffee Roasters & Artisanal Bakery — Restaurant in Marbella

We found Beno Coffee by luck on our recent visit to Marbella, visiting from Scotland. We are so happy we found it and it soon became our favourite coffee spot. Firstly, the decor is stunning - the interiors are so nice and we loved how the drinks were presented. There is a wonderful vibe. It has a really lovely feel to it. The owners are the nicest people - so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and provided lots of information to us about their products. We loved that they roast their own coffee beans. There are lots of different types and flavours available.The coffee is incredible and we even bought coffee to take home with us as we were so impressed. They also make their bakery items on the premises including bagels, pastries etc. They have the most amazing home made granola - we again bought some to take home with us. The owners put so much love and attention into their food and drinks - it’s real experience when you visit. We ended up visiting regularly for coffee - sometimes taking this away. We also tried their iced drinks which were delicious. We tried the strawberry matcha with coconut milk and the iced chai latte - both were wonderful. We highly recommend visiting Beno Coffee, it became one of the highlights of our trip and we are really missing it. It’s a hidden gem and it’s a real treasure. Having worked my way round the coffee shops of Marbella over the years I have to say that the flat white here is one of the best I’ve had, not just here in Marbella, but compares to the best Dublin, London or San Francisco has to offer. The ratios of dose to shot to milk is perfect - and that light roast bean - fruity! The owners roast their own beans and pulls each shot with the same love they roast the beans (I’ll be buying some to bring home)! I hope these guys make it in a town where not everyone does - and I’ll be back for more, and a pastry next time! Edit - went back for their bagels - owner rolled, boiled and baked - best bagel I have had in a while, light, with a decent crust and not cheesy like some bagels! And the waffles …. Very nice coffee and very welcoming owners. I found it by chance and it became one of my favourite coffee in Marbella. They have a various and numerous options of coffee drinks and type of coffee beans besides drinks you never heard about. For matcha lovers, indeed you are going to admire it.
