Restaurant Gulzar in Marbella is simply phenomenal! As someone who has been visiting Marbella for 15 years and has been dining almost exclusively here for the past two years, I can confidently say that this is the best Indian restaurant in town. The flavors are nothing short of sensational, and they will make your taste buds explode with delight. I've tried many places, but nothing comes close to what Gulzar offers.
The restaurant itself may not exude luxury, but that’s not what it’s about. It’s all about the food here, and it’s absolutely perfect. The dishes are fresh, authentic, and prepared with such care that you can taste the passion in every bite.
On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. If you’re in Marbella and looking for an unforgettable Indian meal, Gulzar is the place to go. Trust me, I know you won’t be...

Myself, my wife and our friends ordered a takeaway from this reputedly great Indian restaurant in Marbella at 21:15 14/08/23. Initially we were informed that delivery would be around an hour. At 22:45 we called to see where the order was after being informed by the Just Eat app that we can 'enjoy our meal'. We were told that it was just being packed and would be with us in 10-15 minutes. So this sorry excuse, (and others similar for the two further calls made to Gulzar), until 23:50 when the driver finally turned up! I'm a patient man and understand that things can take a little longer than anticipated sometimes, but come on, over 2 and a half hours to deliver food to an address less than 3 miles away?!? AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. By far the worst takeaway experience we have ever had to...

We ordered a lamb madras (hot) and chicken tikka masala (very hot) along with pulao rice and garlic nan. One thing right about the meal was the spiciness – these meals were mop-your-brow hot! The sauces looked authentic, but they both tasted the same - hot and peppery, but without the expected richness of flavour.
When we heard the beeping of a microwave, we got even more concerned. We ended up paying good money for microwaved nan bread and (I think) microwaved rice. I don't remember that ever happening to me in an Indian restaurant before.
It seems from earlier reviews that this is not the usual state of affairs, but until you are sure that the current issues are resolved, I would not...
