Pizzería Fontanilla — Restaurant in Marbella

Fuimos a cenar un martes. A pesar de no tener muchos clientes, el servicio fue lento, a los camareros les faltaba un café para espabilar y tener un toque de energía y rapidez. La preparación de los platos fue rápida, denotando que en cocina si estaban al nivel.

Tomamos pizzas y lasaña. Estaba bueno, pero una pizza no estaba muy bien presentada: se notaba que los ingredientes se le habían escurrido hacia el centro y era imposible comerla con la mano. Aún así, bien de sabor.

Asimismo, me llamó la atención que una pizza que supuestamente lleva “de todo”, incluidas gambas, solo llevaba una; para eso que no pongan ninguna y así el cliente no advierte el ahorro.

También pedimos una ensalada consistente en un tomate picado con queso por encima con aceite y albahaca. El problema que aprecio aquí, es que no puedes servir el tomate como si fuese una delicatessen (poca cantidad y elevado precio para un tomate picado con queso) cuando sientas a tus clientes en unas sillas de plástico como si de un chiringuito se tratara. Es un restaurante descompensado: con camareros novatos, buena cocina, terraza mejorable y precio tirando a elevado.

A pesar de esta larga crítica, solo con mejorar el servicio en mesa, ya le cambiaría muchísimo la cara a este restaurante como para tener 4 estrellas, no siendo solo una libreta con...

We had arrived late in Marbella. Most restaurants were already closed. At Fontanilla, they were also already busy clearing the chairs and tables. Nevertheless, they still wanted to help, so we could bring the pizza to our flat to eat. What a customer-oriented service. And since I couldn't choose between 2 I got half of each. Kudos! I always see this place full and had the chance to try it today. I had a bit of inconvenience, I was dining alone so the waiter gave me a table inside, there was few empty tables outside. I told her I prefer outside she immediately told me everything is reserved which clearly wasn't the case. anyways the pasta was good, don't order the fries. there was some friendly staff....
