Motel Particulier — Restaurant in Marbella

Nice club, good booking process. But in my opinion the security has to rethink their approach to customers. We had to 2 tables reserved and the security would not let me enter because of a dress code issue. I was wearing a long sleeved t-shirt with a collar, which would considered well dressed, where I am from, so the security told me to buy a shirt. I wasn't against that, but to think about spending another 50€ extra. After consideration I decided to buy the shirt, but the clubs security changed their mind now saying I was badly educated . "Maleducado" is what they called me. I was not drunk and one of the more sober people around. I was very confused by this situation, so I asked for a more detailed explanation of why they wouldn't let me in now, and they said I left the queue in the wrong way earlier (how would I know how to leave the queue in a way they like, it's not like somebody showed me out) and because I touched the bouncers shoulder (In an appropriate way, with no bad intention as I was surprised by them wanting to charge another 50€ for shirt after paying 2 tables as this is not common practice in Germany where I am from). I bet it's a nice club but the security seems to have a very arrogant approach to people that are new...

I don’t even know where to start. We arrived 30mins before our reservation at 9 thinking we could just have drinks like every other place and the place wasn’t even ready. They told us to leave and come back and so we waited in the car but what if we had taken a cab? Are we supposed to wait in the cold? What kind of work ethic does this establishment have? Also may I add we heard the staff talking about us. Quite unprofessionally too. Once inside we were ushered to our tiny tables where the plates barely fit( I understand it turns into more of a nightclub late) but don’t advertise dinner then, the sofas were so low we had to sit with our legs bent to the side which left me with back pain. To top it off I asked for a recommendation from the waiter which was de-boned sole but alas it was not. I chewed through little bones which got stuck between my teeth and obviously didn’t finish the meal. They didn’t even remove it from the bill. Words can’t describe the disappointment. I’ve never been offended whilst being embarrassed to have picked this place for me...

Great place and always fun. Crazy nights but it’s not very big so in summer it’s extremely hot.

You can’t get in without a button down shirt. You need to look presentable. They can rent you one or sell you one.

A lot of expats and tourists and a lot of party.

Music is very loud and actually louder than what feels is legal according to EU levels. So my friends and I often have hearing issues and tinnitus for 2 days after. Not optimal.

But upstairs is not as loud.

Music is house music and sometimes great dj’s but last time it was not the best DJ. The music was okay but the mix was out of sync most of the night.

Girl Dancers here are absolutely amazing. Super talented.

Drinks takes quite a long time to get. Sometimes in the bar there is only 1 bartender on the ground floor. Makes no sense. And it’s hard to get a good buzz when there are a lot of people in the club.

There is a smoking room that I wish was larger as most people really enjoy being there. 👍🏽
