Sukhothai by Thai Gallery — Restaurant in Marbella

I'm extremely frustrated with the service at this Thai restaurant. While the waitress appeared friendly, it seemed to be dishonest friendliness!! Despite my family not being fans of Thai food, I managed to convince them to join me. I ordered the Cashew Chicken and asked for it to be spicy. However, when the food was served, it was unbelievably spicy - with an overpowering chili taste, making it inedible!!! The waitress had warned me, but I've ordered spicy Thai or Indian food in Europe(!!!) all the time and it's always been edible!! The Filipino waitress patted me on the shoulder and said, "poor you!" - which made me feel that she was secretly laughing at me and not wanted to help me!!! When I requested to have the dish diluted, I was given a new portion which I did not eat cause my stomach was messed up anyway and they even wanted to charge for it!!! I'm disappointed with this experience and will not be returning to this...

Visited Sukhothai restaurant in Marbella many times. One of the better restaurants in the village that has been running successfully for many many years. Situated at the start of the Golden Mile leaving Marbella you can find the Thai restaurant very close to another famous eatery Da Bruno.

The Thai restaurant serves some amazing dishes all cooked to perfection that leave you always satisfied but wanting more. Very tasty dishes.

The restaurant is decorated to perfection in a Thai style, lovely depth of color and decoration the oozes rich gold and earthy colors.

The staff are always very welcoming and friendly they always serve with a smile and friendly attention.

The service really is second to none, an amazing evening is always found here. Would recommend Sukhothai to anyone looking for a delicious...

Such a shame. Total rip off with €17.50 “cubierto” added to the bill under the guise of you ate the prawn crackers that were dumped on the table. Such a cheap degrading trick for this place to try on unsuspecting tourists. When challenged they removed the cubierto and then added €10 for the crackers. Unbelievable audacity.
