PILSNER BAR MARBELLA — Restaurant in Marbella

I have been here a few times due to having Slovak family that comes to visit me here in Spain. I always bring then despite having reservations regarding some aspects of the restaurant but this might have been the last time.

First, the food in my opinion is never very good. I read some reviews here about it being great Czech food and having been to the Czech Republic several times and eaten at many restaurants and also having home cooked meals I can say with certainty that this is not good Czech food. It is however the only Czech food I have found near Malaga so I guess for some it might be better than nothing. I have tried several dishes here on three different occasions and can say they range from bad to mediocre. Also, the restaurant is frequently out of dishes despite coming on Saturday’s near their opening time which is annoying. They do have Pilsner urquel on tap which is excellent.

The restaurant it’s self I I will say is nice and clean and in a nice location on the waterfront. It does best as a place to come sit and enjoy some Czech beer.

Finally, the service on my last visit was not good. The waiter dint get my mother in laws order right and so she had to wait to eat her food. What I ordered was not at all what was described to me by the waiter and unlike any “Czech” dish I have ever had in my life.

Also, when I came in I ordered us four beers. Then my mother in law ordered four more. I happened to lol at the table next to us and noticed they had normal sized beers while ours were small. I just asked my family “why are our beers so small?” Really I was just wondering out loud since none of us had asked for small beers, been told there were multiple sizes, or been asked what size we wanted. Well, the waiter overheard me and replied in Czech “if you wanted a (big) beer you should have asked for a big beer and walked off, lol. I can’t tell you what a ridiculous comment that is having been to the Czech Republic and Slovakia countless times or even here in Spain. A “small” beer is never the default size in the Czech Republic and I’m not talking that they are serving huge beers either. The big size is a normal size. Also, the waiter never asked what size we wanted he just brought small beer as the default but what really offended me was the unprofessional comment. I was not even speaking to him when he made his comment he was only passing by to leave cutlery at the table and instead of saying something like “oh sorry I didn’t realize you wanted that size next time I’ll bring that, or just not saying anything at all he makes it about me not specifically saying I want a normal size beer.

Anyway, if you want to come enjoy a nice Czech beer in a nice location I can recommend this place just be sure to specify exactly what you want with beer size. I can’t really recommend the food though. Some of it is average and...

My friends and I had reserved a table at this restaurant and were really looking forward to the evening. However, when we arrived, the welcome from the waitress, Majda, was not very pleasant. She didn’t ask us anything—not even whether we wanted to order drinks or food.

When we finally ordered drinks, she later came back to ask what we had actually ordered. She also brought only one menu for four people, which was odd, especially since we were the only guests in the restaurant.

We wanted to order from the special menu for that day, but we were told that one dish was unavailable. Later, we found out from the owner that this dish was actually available but simply wasn’t offered to us. The waitress was very inattentive, unprofessional, and even seemed intoxicated.

At the end of the evening, when we asked for the bill, we noticed that she had overcharged us for a bottle of wine we never had and two dishes that took an unusually long time to arrive—without any explanation as to why. Later, the owner clarified the situation for us, and we finally learned the truth.

We asked to speak with the owner, who was very kind and helpful. He resolved everything with us, and we sincerely thank him for that—he truly saved the situation. Thanks to him, we will definitely return to...

Cítím potřebu se veřejně vyjádřit k celé situaci, která se v posledních dnech odehrává v souvislosti s mým jménem a s profilem restaurace Pilsner Bar Marbella. Především reaguji na nepravdivé informace a osočování mé osoby, které zasahují nejen do mé pracovní pověsti, ale i do mého soukromého života. Týkají se mimo jiné mého údajného „špatného životního stylu“ nebo domnělých „přešlapů“, které s touto kauzou nemají nic společného. Zároveň chci zdůraznit, že se ohrazuji proti tomu, že bych se jakkoliv dopouštěla jakékoliv „sabotáže“ vůči tomuto podniku.

Celou tuto situaci bych nejraději řešila v klidu a v soukromí. Bohužel, vzhledem k tomu, že se v online prostoru šíří nepodložené informace a dochází k osobním útokům vůči mé osobě, považuji za nutné zveřejnit i své stanovisko.

Pracovala jsem v této restauraci s maximálním nasazením a respektem k hostům. Po celou dobu mého působení si na mě žádný zákazník nestěžoval – naopak, často jsem dostávala pozitivní ohlasy. Někteří hosté si dokonce brali kontakt na mě osobně a psali mi na soukromý telefon s dotazy, kdy budu opět v práci, aby mohli přijít znovu.

Snažila jsem se vymýšlet akce, které by do podniku přilákaly více zákazníků. Poslední z těchto akcí proběhla 14. 3., kdy jsem měla měsíc a půl předem schválenou nabídku tří speciálních jídel. Nakonec byla k dispozici jen dvě – svíčková a halušky. Přesto jsem akci propagovala na Instagramu restaurace s cílem udělat maximum pro její úspěch.

Bohužel, během této akce jsem byla vystavena nevhodnému a ponižujícímu jednání ze strany pana majitele. Stačilo, aby jeden ze zákazníků požádal o více sýra na špagety – když jsem se šla v kuchyni zeptat, byla jsem před kolegy i hosty osočena vulgárními výrazy. Takové zacházení jsem dlouho snášela, ale tentokrát jsem se před hosty rozplakala, protože už to bylo neúnosné.

Ten večer se jedna zákaznice rozhodla po dvou hodinách čekání na halušky svoji objednávku zrušit. Poprosila jsem ji, zda by mohla ještě chvíli počkat, protože jsem věděla, že za tuto situaci ponesu důsledky já. Nakonec souhlasila, že si jídlo vezme alespoň s sebou. Když jsem tuto informaci přišla sdělit do kuchyně, následovaly další urážky a výhrůžky, včetně výhrůžek fyzickým napadením. V té chvíli jsem z restaurace odešla a celou událost nahlásila na policii v Marbelle.

Ráda bych zdůraznila, že ostatní zaměstnanci byli a jsou šikovní lidé. I já jsem byla ráda, že mohu pracovat v českém kolektivu, a do práce jsem dojížděla 160 km, protože jsem si této příležitosti vážila.

V posledních dnech jsem byla nařčena z toho, že stojím za některými negativními recenzemi na restauraci. Chci jasně uvést, že jsem nikoho nenutila ani nenabádala k psaní jakýchkoliv recenzí. Nikomu jsem neříkala, co má napsat. Pouze jsem na svém soukromém profilu sdílela informace a důkazy, které podporují mou zkušenost, a uvedla jsem: „klidně napište recenzi“, pokud má někdo vlastní zkušenost. Nikdy jsem za nikoho žádnou recenzi nepsala, jak je mi nyní podsouváno.

Pan majitel mi následně napsal, že pokud jsem prý sama o sobě použila nějaká vulgární slova, má prý právo mě takto nazývat veřejně i on. Dále mi vyhrožuje, že pokud lidé své negativní recenze nesmažou, nahlásí mě na policii. Na tato tvrzení a výhrůžky jsem připravena reagovat právní cestou, prostřednictvím svého právního zástupce, pokud to bude nutné.

Toto vyjádření píši nejen kvůli výše popsaným událostem, ale také kvůli osobním útokům na můj životní styl a domnělé přešlapy, které s touto kauzou vůbec nesouvisejí. Odmítám být označována za někoho, kdo podnik sabotuje, když jsem vždy dělala maximum pro jeho úspěch.

Celou tuto situaci považuji za velmi nešťastnou a věřím, že pravda se ukáže.
