FOOD SPILT, OWNER HORRENDOUSLY AGGRESSIVE, DETAILS BELOW.
It’s a shame I have to leave this review really, but as I’ll explain below you’ll soon see why I feel like it’s necessary.
I went there for my birthday with 7 friends before going for a night out last Saturday.
The service was pretty standard throughout the meal, nothing to set the world alight, nothing to really complain about.
The food was average but sometimes at steak restaurants these things happen. The side dishes were worse. However we didn’t want to make a fuss and say anything and ruin the good vibes we was all having.
Upon the waiters taking the food away the condiments which had came with mine and my friends food was dropped all down my white top all over my arm and shoulder section.
The top I was wearing unfortunately isn’t just a throwaway top, if it was I’d of accepted it and said it’s a ‘these things happen’ kind of situation. Unfortunately that was not the case and the top I was wearing covered the bill alone. In no way shape or form was I expecting a meal for 8 of us for free.
I’d just like to also point out I didn’t once say anything bad to the waiter that dropped the food. I said it’s fine but we need to try and get this off, I took myself away from my table to try avoid embarrassment to the waiter. They sprayed something on my top that was meant to lift the stain but nothing seemed to be working.
10 minutes of standing around and apologies flying around from the staff, I meet Luciano who is apparently the manager there. He was instantly really aggressive with me asking if I’d ever heard of a mistake and that he’s been in the business 30 years these things happen. Granted they do happen but when it happens there needs to be some form of compromise. Once I mentioned compensation he got even more aggressive squaring up to me like he wanted to fight me saying we don’t do compensation here, you’re paying the full bill and if you don’t like it I will call the police.
I feel really let down by the way he dealt with the situation as in no way was I rude or aggressive to any of his staff about the situation but his attitude and actions were horrendous to myself.
After him calming down and squiggling his name and phone number on a piece of paper he offered to take the top off me right there and then to get it cleaned, but they had no top in exchange for me to wear that night so I’m not really sure how that was meant to work.
I also didn’t want to leave him with my expensive top because he came across as the type of person once I hand it over to him, for him to say what top? And me never see it again.
DON’T GO HERE, LUCIANO (OWNER) Your actions last Saturday were nothing short...
Read moreWe looked at the reviews for Tango and another steak house, but we decided to book a table at Tango for my husband's birthday meal. We were shown what the different steaks were and advised what was the best one to have. We decided to have a Waygu ribeye 🥩 steak with fries 🍟 and a jacket potatoe.
We were the first customers in the restaurant our food came very quickly. The steak was cooked well and tasted nice. The ribeye has a fair amount of fat around it to add to the flavour, neither of us are the fatty bits. The Jack potato 🥔 was nice and fluffy.
We had dessert, the profiteroles caught my eye, my husband had the dulce leche flan. I was disappointed with my dessert, I had the top bit of the profiterole that was place on vanilla ice cream with a chocolate topping and a digestive biscuit in the middle and cream either side. I would prefer a full size profiterole with less ice cream, cream and get rid of the digestive biscuit. The dessert looked fussy and it was too sweet with the added extras. My husband liked is dessert, but he said it was heavy to eat.
My husband brought a bottle of red wine, that he took away, it was cheaper than buying a couple of...
Read moreIncredible food, service and entertainment. My wife and I booked on a Thursday evening in late November and were so glad we did. Right in the heart of Puerto Banus next to the marina. The decor was delightful, the service was extremely tentative and professional and the food was so tasty. We had the tempura prawns and crab cakes to start and both dishes were cooked and presented perfectly. For main we had the Chateaubriand which was accompanied with a good assortment of vegetables. Probably not the best I've ever had but definitely up there as a memorable taste experience. The dishes were of good proportions and reasonably priced when you consider the quality, venue and entertainment. The wine was of good quality and reasonably priced. We were then treated to to 2 performances of the Argentine Tango plus other dances. The dancers were tremendous and the performances really did add to the experience. We had no negatives to report from our evening and would highly recommend this place for an overall experience with...
