I recently had the pleasure of dining at Picaso Restaurant in Marbella Puerto Banus, and I must say it was an exceptional experience! The highlight of my visit was the incredible seafood pasta, pil pil, and drinks.
The seafood pasta was a true delight. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. It was a delectable combination of flavors that left me wanting more.
The pil pil was another standout dish. The rich and tangy sauce complemented the seafood beautifully, creating a mouthwatering experience. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and attention to detail in every bite.
To accompany the meal, I enjoyed a selection of drinks that were expertly prepared and served. The staff was knowledgeable about their offerings and provided excellent recommendations.
I must also mention the delicious garlic bread. It was freshly baked and served warm, with just the right amount of garlic and herbs. It was the perfect accompaniment to the main course.
Moreover, the service at Picaso Restaurant was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured that my dining experience was top-notch. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent suggestions, making me feel welcomed and valued as a customer.
The ambiance of the restaurant was charming and cozy, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The attention to detail in the decor and the comfortable seating made for a delightful dining atmosphere.
Overall, I highly recommend Picaso Restaurant to anyone visiting Marbella Puerto Banus. The seafood pasta, pil pil, and drinks were truly exceptional, and the service was outstanding. It was a memorable dining experience that exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning on my next visit...
Read moreReally disappointed with our last visit yesterday. This restaurant is always super busy but the service is usually ok but yesterday the service was extremely poor. We asked 3 separate waiters for a booster seat for our 1 year old daughter not one of them came back and brought the seat. We luckily seen a waiter tidying up one that had been left on a table nearby so we asked if we could have it. We ordered a bottle of wine and water there were visibly 3 adults on the table but only 2 wine glasses were brought to the table we had to ask for another. No glasses for water were given at all, we had to ask 2 different waiters for a glass and each time were only given one. Usually condiments such as chilli oil, Parmesan etc are given but this time we had to ask a few times to get this. We also ordered a pizza to start with to share which we have done previously and usually are given a side plate again no side plates were given at all. We ordered the fettuccine which my husband had previously it had prawns which I am not too keen on so my husband asked if it could be substituted for chicken the waiter said that was no problem, he did not mention there would be an extra charge and given that prawn dishes are typically more expensive than chicken we did not expect there to be an extra cost on top. When the bill came however we had been charged nearly 3 euros for having chicken instead of prawn. We just paid the bill and left after having to ask for things several times we didn’t have the energy to address this but after this and the food only being average this time we probably won’t be returning as it just felt super rushed and sloppy service...
Read moreWe always see a very long queue especially in the evening we decided to have lunch, there wasn't a queue.
We were seated and a waiter came to take our drinks order, we had apple 🍏 juice and a beer. Didn't taste like apple juice, but it was nice and cool. It was a hot day, we ordered fried chicken wings with skin on fries to share and quesadillas from the starters. I thought maybe 4/5 chicken wings and a small bowl of fries 🍟 would be adequate.
Our food came very quickly, they brought the chicken wings, it was a very large portion at least 17 pieces of hot crispy chicken wings, then the fries came also a large bowl. The quesadillas were also large for a starter. The food was cooked and presented well. We struggled to eat all of it, we took the remaining chicken with us.
I now understand why there is a queue to eat here. The portions are big, it's definitely value for money, they are not cheap, but not expensive either! There is no way anyone can say they are not full after eating here. We paid €50.85 that included two glasses of apple juice.
The chicken wings and fries can be shared by three people easily. Especially if you are planning on eating anything else from the menu. I had a quick at other tables and all the portions are large and some of the drinks. The table next us had the dessert in the photo, it looked so amazing they allowed me to take a photo, two of them shared this.
The table to left of me also had a dessert that was shared by four people.
When I go back, I will definitely order that dessert to...
