I was scammed for 18.34. 04.02.2024 at around 2pm I was dining, there was only one waiter and she approached me to pay extra on top of what I've paid. The bill was ~128, I leave a little bit above 132, didn't have any more cash with me. I stayed like 10-15 min in front of the building because kids were playing, she approached and claimed that money is missing, I couldn't see any 10 Euro bill, even though I left two. I told her I will write in the reviews about this scam, she was trying to convince me I counted it wrong, which I am more than sure I was right. I counted it 6 times, because I had 2 glasses of wine, and I recall two 10 Euro bills. Never ever had experience like this, it's really a way to destroy pleasant and lazy evening. I understand that usually you should leave tip, but scamming because I didn't have more money with me, is extremely frustrating. Didn't want to make a scene for 20 euro, but the whole scam thing, really is...
Read moreWe came here to have an amazing sounding dinner based on the reviews. Our waitress was very nice and was very attentive. We selected a 200 monges which was a nice wine, but their entire wine list seemed a little overpriced.their flamenquin was the best thing I had there, you could tell the beef they used to make it was good quality. The eggplant was pretty basic and didn’t have much of an interesting flavor. The milesime egg was very disappointing, it was very weak on the truffle flavor and although it was pretty good, it wasn’t even worth half the 21 euros they charge for it. Overall good service, atmosphere not appropriate to the prices they charge and pretty good food at michelin star prices. I would recommend you spend your money elsewhere. Beware any restaurant that has a perfect 5.0 rating, as it is nearly impossible to achieve this without pulling...
Read moreI chose this restaurant based on the reviews and expected to be blown away, but the only thing that was blown away was my wallet. I thought the food was about average compared to other restaurant experiences I had in the Malaga area, with the exception of the boletus with truffles and foccacia, which was the most overpriced dish I've seen in Spain. That dish was essentially a cream of mushroom sauce with bread for 21 EUR, couldn't taste the truffles at all and didn't have much flavor. Other dishes were priced a bit higher than usual (eggplant, tartar) as well. If you're thinking of coming here, however, I would recommend the flamenquin iberico and maybe giving some of the other meats or appetizers a try.
edit the response from the owner was desperate - he tries to discredit you by implying how others loved the place so your opinion...
