Restaurante Carpaccio — Restaurant in Marbella

FOOD POISONED! AVOID THIS PLACE I went there for dinner with my husband on Monday (2 may) and we ordered water and 2 main courses (riso with Gorgonzola, peers and rocket and pasta). My husband had some bits of my risotto. Starting from 2/3 hrs after the dinner, we felt very very badly. I have been vomiting (and not only) all night long. My husband vomited (and not only) as well but less than me (I think because the risotto was spoiled and he only tasted some of that). The day after (yesterday) we have been unwell all day, I was not even able to get out of the bed, shivers, fever and I was very very sick. Obviously it has been a very unpleasant experience, not only being sick itself, but it completely ruined our plans for the holiday. Also, I have called the restaurant but they told me that the manager was not there (as if no one else could say sorry) and after I insisted they gave me his mobile. Absolutely Rude!

The restaurant Manager created uproar when we turned up to for a table of 4! Thr only table was a round table at the front laid up for 5 people.

We asked to be seated there but he gave a huge embarrassing huff & spoke to the other waiter’s in Spanish!!!!

My wife speaks fluent Spanish & understood him slagging us off, “irritating English people”.

I then spoke to him (rightly or wrongly ) to remind him of the English people and they contribute to the Spanish economy and that if we didn’t come here what it would be like.

Basically, he blew a fuse and had a a tantrum all because we wanted to make a table set up for 5 a table of 4. Empty restaurant and not a good atmosphere, will definitely not return as so many better Italian restaurants int he vicinity with polite staff whom are welcoming to...

I've dined here before and found the food decent, but it seems the restaurant has lost its charm. Enticed by a woman outside, we were seated at a table that was uncomfortable due to one side being against a pillar.

The service was dreadful. We waited 30 minutes without anyone taking our order. The staff seemed to be in a bad mood. A nearby patron received the wrong pizza, and instead of correcting it, the waiter dismissed the issue, saying, "It is what it is."

Another customer beside us had been waiting an excessively long time for their food and was visibly frustrated.

This restaurant is a joke. Luring customers in only to trap them with terrible service is unacceptable....
